Man Charged With Having Sex With 3-Year-Old
Girlfriend Says She Found Videotape Of Act
POSTED: 2:55 pm CDT August 21, 2008
WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- A northwest suburban man is being held on $1 million bond Thursday on charges he made a videotape of himself sexually assaulting a 3-year-old.
Lake County Circuit Judge Raymond Collins set bond for Andrew J. Pfeifer, 44, of the 34000 block of North Catherine Street, in unincorporated Ingleside, who is charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, a Class X felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison, according to a release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

I wonder if this "mother" is going to continue bringing boyfriends into her daughter's life. Even leaving her alone with them... some people should not be allowed to procreate.

Not to be a pill or anything but I didn't read that it was the girlfriend's child that he raped. It was one of his own relatives.

We're both right and wrong:
"On Wednesday, a distraught woman appeared at the Round Lake Beach Police Department to report that she had found a videotape of her boyfriend having sexual intercourse with one of his 3-year-old relatives, the release said."
So it is her boyfriend raping a 3 year old relative of his. I wonder if this woman has any kids of her own, I will find try to find out Monday.

They tape themselves because their is a huge pedophile circles that trades pics and videos. Also because they use it themselves for future gratification.

The problem is that unless you doing so in the act of stopping the offense killing the person after the fact is murder. My daughter(and my son) was raped over a span of time by my nephew and I so wanted to take matters into my own hands, namely his neck, but as I approach my meeting with him I was overwhelmed by God's word in that vengeance is His and that has ordained the civil government to deal with those who break the law...
As for cutting things off... I really not sure if that really is the answer since control is a huge factor in regards to rape not simply a desire of sexual contact... I believe Bzirk is on the right track in regard to the just punishment for rape.. It's for more a crime than one just below the belt... If you really want to deal with the issue make the cut just above the shoulders.

Stuff like this makes me want to go vigilante. Why should perpetrators be protected by the law while the victims are given such short-shrift? 30 yrs maximum? That's a crime in itself.
I say child-molesters should be put to death, and immediately if not yesterday! Same with rapists.

I think that's a normal response -- wanting to go vigilante. As children are protected less and less in our society and by the state, I think people will have this response more and more. Might even lead to groups actually being vigilante at some point.

I believe that the response is our God-given sense of justice. And when the State fails to provide justice, our response is to take it into our own hands. Why is it that the most despised individual in a prison is a child molestor and he needs to be isolated for his own protection?

I agree that there is usually a natural indignation, which I think comes from being made in God's image. We might not seek God without HIm drawing us, but many of us (Christian or not) still have some vestiges of Him when it comes to wanting to protect children.

Because not all states allow executions for heinous sex offenders under Jessica's law and because many jurisdictions have a revolving door policy on sex offenders, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Though I have read about countless many who have raped again after being released from jail or prison, I have yet to read about a castrated man raping anyone.
