4 year old needs prayer for her home life - 6/29/2008 11:36:35 PM

Hi all, my 4 year old cousin needs prayer deeply. She is living with our grandfather at the moment but her parents were able to save up the money for a plane ticket to send her home. Sounds good right? Well its not. Her parents are homeless and living in their car, her father is on drugs, an alchoholic, and somewhat abusive. My grandfather is going to try and talk them into leting her stay with him for the school year since they would not be able to pay for school , or take to to a school, in the conditions they are living in. Then she could visit them for the summer and he gets her for the school year.
So if you would be kind enough to pray for her please do. Either pray that her parents (John and Erin) find Jesus and have a major life turn-around, or pray that my grandfather is able to keep her for the school year. Above all please pray that within the next week we will be able to introduce her to Christ and please pray for her safety.

Father God, I pray that You will take complete control of this little girl's life. I pray that angels will surround her, protect her. I pray that she will learn how to seek You in her life. Please show Yourself to her parents that they may come to know You. Father, whether she lives with her parents or grandfather, I pray that she will be protected, loved and cared for and that Your love will be the guiding light in her life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord I pray you will be with this child.
Make a way Lord for her to be in a safe enviroment where she can learn and grow.
Lord I pray you will protect her and keep her safe
Lord I pray you will move in her parents lives.
Lord help them to make the right decision that will benifit thier daughters life.
Lord I pray this child will know your love and grace is ever near her.
Lord I pray you will intervene in this situation.
I pray your will be done in this childs life and also in this entire family.
Lord I pray you will give this grandfather peace and bless his life and home.

She was scheduled to go back within a week but I have just gotten word that after talking to her mother last night he can keep her untill August 1 and not a day later.

That give the Lord time (not that He needs time) to get Christians working in the lives of this little girl and her parents. I will keep praying!

I am so glad that she at least gets to stay until August, so much can happen in 2 months, so I pray that good christian people cross her path and that God will show himself to your little cousin and come into her heart. I pray that her parents hearts are softened and that they want to know who Jesus is and are saved...I pray that their situation changes quickly and that God just protect all involved here and get this family some shelter and food and stay safe..
