Hmmm... can I include the litany of "New Hollywood" titles, referring to the oft-revered decade in cineaste history, where the directors called the (creative) shots? -Being There -Network -Straw Dogs -The French Connection -The Exorcist -Cross of Iron -Barry Lyndon -Harold & Maud there's probably more in mind, but I'll have to think this through...
