Galatians 3:14 Says the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles.
What exactly is this blessing?

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith [Gal. 3:14].

...At the council of Jerusalem, in Acts 15, Peter said in effect, “We and our fathers were not able to keep the law. Why do we want to put the Gentiles under it? If we could not keep it, they won’t be able to keep it either.” Christ took our place that we might receive what the Law could never do. The Holy Spirit is the peculiar gift in this age of grace.[the New Covenant]

So Abraham only received the Promise and we actually received the Holy Spirit. But He was saved without the Spirit? Salvation comes through faith.

Please, do not use quotation marks unless you are quoting. I don't think you would appreciate it if I posted in effect LCannon said, "Abraham was not saved."

Genesis 12:1-3
"1 The Lord had said to Abram, 'Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. 2 'I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.' "

So, the effect upon the Gentile is that those who oppose the children of Avraham will be cursed and those who side wiith them will be blessed and we are all blessed because of Abraham. I believe, Ruach Ha Chedosh(The Holy Spirit) was with Avraham and his children just as He is today. To say otherwise is, in my opinion, to curse Avraham, because it is by Avraham we have access to Ruach Ha Chedosh through Yeshua Ha Meshiach(Jesus the Messiah).

As Yeshua Himself says, (Joh 4:22) "You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews(Yehudim)." So, if He differentiates between the practices of the nonjewish Isrealites and those of the Yehudim how much more are we to be set apart from the ways of the Gentiles.

And we owe them a great debt, to be paid out of a sence of graditude and not obligation of course, as Paul says. (Ro 15:27b) "For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings."
