Anyone remember this film? This was one of my favorites in my teen years. About a babysitter who has to pick up her girlfriend who ran away but needs to be picked up from the bus station in Chicago. So she brings the 3 kids with her to pick them up and all these strange occurrences happen.

That movie is hilarious. I love when her friend thinks the rat is a cat and when the little girl thinks the mechanic is Thor, God of Thunder. (tap) lol Oh...and when they sing the babysitting blues.

HEE, now there's a blast from the past. I love when the babysitter (what IS her name??) is just so completely fed up when the gang tries to jump her on the bus and they back off when she...says something I can't quote here. And when the teen boy's friend is making fun of her boyfriend's "Too Cool" license plate. quote:
...and when the little girl thinks the mechanic is Thor Oh man, I thought that actor was like the BEST. LOOKING. GUY. EVER. when I was a teenager.

LOL...he was pretty good looking. What's funny is that I worked with a guy that looked just like him and I used to call him Thor, God of Thunder, too. (And then I would pound my fist on whatever was handy.) I also worked with a guy that looked like Steve Perry, but that's another thread.

I think, that he is the guy who is or was on Law and Order Criminal Intent. I don't know his name off hand and I don't feel like going to IMDB to verify.

It is...in a very young (and blond) role. Too funny. My entire family adores that movie. We lived in a Chicago suburb at the time and we would rent it multiple times and quote from it. It has just the right level of cheesiness and hilarity.

I remember seeing the very building that they were outside hanging from the side at from the building. I thought that was very cool!

I've just discovered that there is a remake of it coming starring Rayvne-Simone and Miley Cyrus. I'm now praying that this is a horrible, cruel joke. --Kat

I'm assuming rumor for now.
