And speaking of April showers, I ask that there be no showers of tears for what I'm about to say.
It's still March 31 for about 10 minutes here, so I'll try to say this before it becomes a day when people might think I'm lying.
As the month comes to a close, so does my time here, at least for a while. In a few minutes, it will be April, and I will be entering a mad period of my life as the day of my graduation draws near. Because of this, I expect to have less time to spend online, so I need to avoid large time sinks like amazingly fun forum threads that go on for pages each day. I'll miss you all. It has truly been fun and exciting to spend time posting back and forth with you.
The other reason I'm leaving, at least for a while, is that I didn't intend to stay long on the forums. I hadn't meant to be on for this last month, when I first started. I just wanted to see if I could find some people who live near me, because I'm trying to spend less time on the computer and more time with flesh and blood people. Ironically, I have grown fond of many of you here, and I have spent a good deal of time on the computer talking with you. This has brought some joy into my life.
I thought I would mention this here because you who read the chat thread are those who might wonder where I'd gone, and those who don't read the chat thread wouldn't care.
I've babbled on for long enough. Fare you well. I'll be around a little for a few days, but I'm going to try not to start anything new. Just tidy up the loose ends.

You know, I really don't know! That was an AWESOME chat thread last month - I think everyone really did have spring fever, and when they were stuck indoors, they took it out on the thread.

The Beatles were mentioned in the last chat thread which brought something to mind:
I've been watching old What's My Line and I've Got a Secret shows on GSN lately, and I saw an episode of I've Got a Secret the other night from 1964 with Pete Best. He wasn't a guest star, just a regular contestant, and the panel had to guess his "secret". The hint (which Garry Moore always gives) was that "it concerns something he was". Bess Myerson finally came up with it, that he used to be one of the Beatles, probably because he looked like a Beatle, which of course he did.
It was so cool! He said he left the group two years previous because he didn't think they were going anywhere.
