Good question. It would help if you give us a step by step as to what you are doing.

Oh, I'm sorry Kath! I mus have not checked the box "Notify me via e-mail/pm when someone replies"!!! Thanks for taking your time to respond. I appreciate it!

Ok, this is what I'm saying. I will try my best to explain as much as possible!

1) I go to "My Profile"
2) I scroll down to "My Avatar"
3) I click on "Upload my picture."
4) Then I go to "Set Up Profile Photo"
5) I check the box "Use your avatar as Profile Photo"
6) And I checked "Upload my picture."

And I have enough posts to do this. I resized my photo. It's not showing up. I did numerous different methods, trying to put it up. But it just won't do it.

That's ok, I just didn't want you to think you were being ignored. :)

This may be where you are running into difficulty. The "set up your profile photo" is a different section than "upload the avatar". What I think you should try first is to successfully upload your avatar picture; click all the Oks then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click either apply or ok. Apply works for me but ok doesn't, while with others ok works and apply doesn't. Then check a post to make sure it loaded successfully. Sometimes I have to reload the page to see the new avatar.

THEN I'd go ahead and go to that "use you avatar as your profile picture" section.

Kath,
Has anyone told you you are still amazing? Well, the amazingness of Kath continues, ladies and gentlemen. Why, if it were not for her and all the other wise, diligent, and caring mods on these forums, I do believe the community would surely self-destruct! I'd just love to send them all gift cards to their fave fueling location... Starbucks, or some such.

Kudos!

You'd be surprised at how many times people forget to click at the bottom, even people who have uploaded pictures many times.

I love Starbucks! Thanks for the sentiment
