I was watching tv this morning and I saw there was the Country Music Awards Show from Las Vegas. Then I think to myself "Vegas"? That isn't very country music oriented city. Then I started to wonder why the Rock And Roll HOF induction is in NYC when Cleveland is the actual birthplace of Rock and Roll. Then NASCAR. They have their awards ceremony in NYC as well. NYC is not the birthplace of NASCAR. (though I am not a NASCAR watcher). The old NFL championship games were played in the city of the team with the better record. ( Very cold weather-Snow or Ice was likely in the northern regions) . But that was real football.

There are actually lots of country concerts and country fans in Vegas.
