Lord, most gracious God, how I lift up my friend Pam to you today as she sees top specialists in her state to begin more rigorous treatment of her serious health issues. Lord, you know how nearly twenty years of chronic kidney disease has left her with areas of bone death such that she has chronic bone infection. You know how she's nearly died twice in the last four months from septic shock. You know what a "John Wayne" type of stoic she tends to be and can't abide losing her career in order to get well. On the other hand, she wants to trust You, but it's hard for her to let go of her grasp on her own life. Please help her let You take the place of her career in her heart, help her let the doctors do whatever they need to do to treat her, and please heal her ravaged body. In the most powerful and loving name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank-you all for praying. My friend was admitted to the hospital, even though she didn't want to be, and she submitted graciously, and so she's now undergoing myriads of detailed testing. Thank-you, and please keep praying for her physical healing and spiritual growth. I'm not sure for sure if she reallys knows the Lord or not, but God knows...so I'm praying for whatever God knows she needs spiritually. To God be the glory...and I thank Him for all of you.

I pray Lord for spiritual,mentally and physical healing.
Lord I pray she will open her heart to you and seek your comfort and peace and salvation.
Ease her fear and give her hope

Thanks for praying... She was apparently went home this afternoon, but it's still really serious. The medical staff's taking her off of her IV antibiotics (which she's had for weeks even at home) so that maybe the infection will resurface to the point where they can culture it. The current antibiotic is not working, so they can't reliably tell which other one might work without a culture. So she will probably end up right back in the hospital. She was sent home to wait and see what happens because she would be more comfortable there. It's really serious, because the infection's in a neck bone, causing neurological problems with her eyes and such, and her healing is compromised by a kidney function of only 10% (not yet able to be on dialysis due to this ongoing infection). The last two times the infection's fully surfaced in the last four months, Pam nearly died from a system-wide blood infection (septicemia and septic shock). Also, she's only just somewhere around 50 years old. Thanks so much for your prayers.
Dear Lord, please do beyond all we ask or think in Pam's body...according to Your great purposes and to Your glory in Christ. Please heal her, Lord, and give her a great testimony of Your amazing work in her life. Please let this be when Pam gives You full control of her heart and topmost place in her life. In Jesus' Great Name, Amen.

Lord God, please turn your loving eyes towards Pam at this time. Lord, please be with her as she begins this new treatment for her kidneys and bones. Please place your healing hands upon her and restore her to health. If it is within your will, please let this treatment help her to get better and no longer suffer from this agonizing condition. Help the doctors and other hospital staff to do their best for her and aid in the restoration of her health, and at the same time, let them treat her with dignity and kindness. May they help to keep her strong and give her encouragement during the treatments she must endure. Also, bless Pam with friends and family to help give her cheer and encouragement while she is in treatment. Lord, above all, remind Pam that you are with her at all times. Help her to learn to trust in you, and may this illness and treatment ultimately serve to help her have a closer and deeper relationship with you.
God, you are faithful to all your servants. Show Pam your tenderness and love for her as she continues with this fight against kidney disease and all that it has brought upon her. Let her know that you are near her. Remove any spirit of doubt or fear that she might have regarding this treatment or you. Instead, replace it with a spirit of trust in you, and of continued strength. I humbly ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Eternal Savior.
