DO OVERS We can't change the past but many of us possibly spend more time than we should wishing that we could go back and do it over. I have some major regrets but I seem to be empowered by them to succeed in areas that may not have been possible if I had not failed or messed up some time ago. I think about how God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and 2 kids. What if I had done things differently and not met my wife? I simply want to make a point that we are where we are supposed to be at this time be it good or bad but from our position, we can change some things. In fact, with our hope, trust, and faith in God, we should be able to move mountains. If God gave you one "DO OVER", what would you change and how do you believe it would have affected your salvation in the present?

If God gave you one "DO OVER", what would you change and how do you believe it would have affected your salvation in the present? Take Greek and Hebrew. Only now am I realizing the opportunity I missed while in Bible College.

If God gave you one "DO OVER", what would you change and how do you believe it would have affected your salvation in the present?t One poor choice I made resulted in the premarital conception of my firstborn. Now I am not saying that I regret having given birth to her. I don't regard her as a mistake at all. In fact her conception is what I believe God used to convict me to get off the pedestal that I climbed up as the "goody goody Christian girl, loved by everyone at church." I was given the privilege to lead praise for Sunday Worship Service. What started as doing it for God's glory, ended up with giving myself glory. Had God not allowed me to take stumble, I would have stayed a self-righteous hypocrite with a mask of false humility. I'm sure one way or another, God would have used something in my life to get me off to remind me who the real Star is, but I really believe my little girl is a blessing in disguise from a poor choice I made, as God continues to use her in my life to keep me humbled. I don't think I will do a DO OVER.

Maybe, the second time around would be...harder. Never challenge worse.

Well, I'd be perfect, have all knowledge, and never do anything wrong. Yep, if I could do it all over again, I'd be perfect from the start!

I think God does give us opportunities to "do over" situations in our lives. He does me. There have been many times where I've felt He wanted me to do something that I didn't do and the opportunity reappears in a different situation.

If I could have one "DO OVER", I would have kept my children in church, after my divorce. Being so busy being both mom and dad, working to support them, going to school, and care for the home and them, I was always so tired. Thats what I would change above all else. Oh sure, I still loved my Lord, prayed for my patients as I washed they're feet, everyone I worked with knew my faith and so did my children. But little by little as I didn't give the Lord any time, my faith became less and less of a focus. How would it change my salvation in the present. It wouldn't. And I don't think my walk with the Lord would be any closer, as I put Him above all else. But would my children's faith be stronger? Would it have helped to avoid some of the trouble they got into? Would I have "been there" more for them? Thank You Lord for Your grace.

Since God is in control and God allowed those things to happen, IF you could have a do over, I would suspect God would find a way to accomplish those goals one way or another.

"DO OVER"? There are defiinite things I regret but to ask for a "DO OVER" would mean taking the things God has redeemed and the lessons I've learned too. Maybe a "DO AGAIN" instead?
