I noticed on several web forums the gals are into making cute things for the garden. You stack up a series of plates, cups, vases, whatever and glue them together with a clear silicone glue. I use Goop.

For example glue a colored glass vase to a plate, then another plate perhaps smaller on that, then a cup and another plate, then something on the top.

I got loads of decorated plates, glass jars, glasses and cups at garage sales to use for this.
I am making one for indoors on a table with small plates and teacups with a minature teapot on top.

These may make a nice gifts too.

I love your ideas.

I enjoy making garden decorations and have them all over.

My favorite is a sign post with markers pointing to different cities and showing how far in away they are in miles. I have one for each grandma, one for my sister and one for where my daughter went to college and where my son goes now.

A really unique decoration is tipsy pots. You can do a search to see what they look like. You drive a very long piece of rebar into the ground. Slide a clay pot down through the hold so it sits on the ground. Slide another pot on top but tip it so it's leaning. Continue this until you ready the top and then fill them with plants.

I bought a wooden chair from a garage sale for $1 and cut a hole in the seat where I put a pot.

I've seen something like at some of the craft shows I've done. Good way to use up old dishes.
