Will Hell be worse for the false Christians (I mean people who call themselves Christians but do things like commit adultery and don't repent) than for people who just don't believe? If so how do you think it will be worse?

I think it will be worse for false teachers as stated in 2 Peter chapter 2, but as for "false Christians", I don't know if it will be any worse. Hell is hell, an eternity without God, so to me it doesn't matter.

Welcome to the Forums.

Many people have debated over the years what hell will be/is like. Will there be fire and brimstone? Will people be crying and grinding their teeth? (What if they have no teeth? Will dentures be provided?).

The point I'm trying to make is that nobody really knows what it'll be like. And hopefully, most people reading this will not get the opportunity to find out.

Suffice it to say that hell, in my view, is a place definetly not to be in. Whether it is graduated between false Christians and non-believers or not.

HEALTH WARNING: Avoid hell at all costs. Turn right and keep straight.

"But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded."(Luke 12:48)

"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift(sure and greater)destruction."(2Peter 2:1)

Sweetheart...yes a person may commit adultery and not repent, but did you also know that unforgiveness is another reason why a person would not get to Heaven. If you hold unforgiveness despite really wanting to be FOR Christ, you will not be accepted into His presence. However, I do believe that if Christ works in you, you'll have to deal with it - the Holy Spirit would be at you and you'd be responsive. Even if it takes years..and you take little steps, God is patient, AMEN!

I do not believe a true christian can sin and not repent. If they do not repent, they are not saved.

To add to that:

Repentance is a lifestyle, not a one-time prayer you made at an altar at summer camp.

Yes, I do believe there are degrees to suffering in hell based on Jesus warning to the people of His day who He said it would be better for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah than it was for them. We are responsible for how much we know and what we do with it. I am not sure about "false christians" though. Is there really such a thing. After all, Christ died once for all time for all sinners. Once we receive Him, I mean really receive Him, we are saved. There are those who will know the Word but not believe. They cannot be called christians though, because you must believe from the heart that Christ died, was buried, and raised again the third day, and confess with you mouth, in order to be saved. For one to believe from the heart, and not confess, I'm not sure that it is really possible, is it?

Hell is hell, regardless! The Bible states, watchful and faithful leaders will be given increased opportunities and responsibilities, the more resources, talents and understanding we have, the more we are responsible to use them effectively. God will not hold us responsible for gifts He has not given us, but all of us have enough gifts and duties to keep us busy until Jesus comes.

Take it from Jesus's word Him-self Luke 17:2 " It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. So watch yourselves.
