What's your favorite grilled hamburger recipe? What do you add to the meat to make it the best burger ever?

I grate up sourdough bread, mix in salt, pepper, chopped onion, and Heinz 57 sauce. Let it all soak together. I then work the mixture into ground sirloin, and grill!

I've never heard of using sourdough bread before! Interesting.

I mix in different things depending on what I feel like that day, but my secret ingredient is Worshtershire (sp?) sauce. I alway put that in and it makes it SO good! I will also often grate an onion with a cheese grater and put that in - great flavor and makes it very moist and juicy.

Horseradish and onion. Sometimes cheese with it. I don't usually have steak sause on hand, but I have heard lots of people liking that. I also have a recipe that has 1 lb hamburger, I think 1/4 to 1/2 lb ground pork sausage, shredded hash brown potatoes, ketchup and cheese in it. Lots of people liked that one too... haven't done those in awhile though, I'd kind of forgotten about them.

Not in it, but on it: Fried egg (runny yolk) + canadian bacon or ham. -Dan.
