Funny that the journalistic giant "US" magazine uses the word "mocked" in their title as generally SNL satires everybody! Now, US magazine has recently printed stories about Sarah Palin that might be, no, mocked wouldn't be the right word.... smeared, her and her daughter. I'd be careful of those sources.

When I saw some SNL clips of Tina Fey as Palin, I can't help but think that there's a striking dead-ringer resemblance between them--albeit on the aesthetic level, as opposed to the internal political level!

Thanks for the link. I didn't get to see the SNL sketch. It was funny!

I watched part of it earlier on the NBC website. Palin was pretty funny and spot on, but the one playing Hillary was embarrassingly awful. I couldn't watch the whole thing because of her.

Amy Poehler played Hillary in that sketch; I agree, though, her impression of her isn't that great. Fred Armisen's Obama needs work too; Keegan-Michael Key over on Mad TV does a good Obama, though. He's even got Obama's verbal cadence down pat. quote:

It'd be funny if SNL could talk Palin into coming on the show, and have Tina Fey return too - they could have a debate where Palin debates herself.

I think it was fantastic! Confession time . . . it's one of my all-time dreams to someday be parodied on SNL. It'll never ever happen but I can't help but think what a kick Sarah Palin must've gotten out of that! Especially if it's true that she's somewhat of a Tina Fey fan - enough to reportedly have dressed up like her. I love it! I agree Amy Pohler is dreadful but I think Hillary is too so her impersonation kinda works for me. Side note: the stuff on MadTV is horrendous. The guy doing Obama sounds great but looks ridiculous. And the little guy doing McCain is just unbearable. I can't stand that show.

Yeah, I thought it was quite funny - and I formally rescind my former complaint about comparing Palin to Tina Fey.

Great script. Tina Fey stole the show. But, in fairness, Barracuda is easier to do because her appearance is not hard to duplicate. After the election, Palin needs to go on the show and do Tina Fey.

I thought Tina Fey was AWESOME! (And I liked Ferrell's Reno, too.)

According to Palin, she has already done her, for Halloween lol. http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/09/sarah_palins_tina_fey_hallowee.html Looks like Fey didn't get the last laugh after all.

What about that youtube clip, featuring Gina Gershon as Sarah Barracuda, patriotic bikini, shotgun et al?

FYI: I heard tonight that Tina Fey will be returning to SNL at least twice to reprise her sketch comedy role as Sarah Palin. Cool.
