Yeah, looking forward to it coming back. I do get concerned that the issues are a bit much for teens, but otherwise I enjoy it. Almost wish I had Direct TV so I could watch it now, but I think I can wait till January. kd

I know what you mean about the issues being too much for the teens. Thankfully, they wrapped that up last season. I do have DirecTV and the new season is fantastic!! They haven't gone off the deep end like they did with Landry/Tyra last year. I don't want to spoil anything for your, but once again, the writers are on top of their game.

I have loved this show from the very first episode. I can't wait until it comes on in February.

I actually didn't start watching until after the first season. I caught the back half of the season online and ended up addicted. It's such a well done show. I'm glad NBC brought it back AND scheduled it to air on a night other than Fridays in the fall.

Can you give me just a little hint of what's going on this season?

A little hint....hmmm.

Weeelll. Tami is now the principal of the school. She starts off butting heads with Buddy Garrity over funds the boosters raised for a Jumbo Tron.

There's a new quarterback in town. A freshman named JD McCoy has become a threat to Matt's position as QB 1, but you totally feel sorry for the young dude.

JD's father, Joe, is rapidly becoming a pain in Coach Taylor's behind.

Matt is still having trouble with his grandma. We get to meet his mother and learn about their relationship.

Coach Taylor takes Smash under his wing to help him rehab his knee and get into college.

Desperate to provide for his son, Street goes in with Herc, and the Riggins brothers to try to buy and flip Buddy Garrity's house.

Lyla and Tim are trying to make a go of their relationship.

Matt and Julie are getting friendly again.

Tyra starts dating an older man leaving Landry heart broken.

Okay. I think that's a pretty good overview of everything. I tried to be fairly vague so you can wait and see the outcomes.

Thank you, thank you. It feels like getting a letter telling me about what my friends have been doing. Poor Landry. And Tim, bless his heart. He means well, but things just don't work out for him. I love Tammy and the coach.

Now I can't wait to see it.

Glad I could help!

Tim Riggins is the reason I started watching the show. I don't know why, but I was riveted when he started dating that mother and looking out for her little boy.

I love Tami and Eric. It's so nice to see stable marriages on TV. That's also why I watch Brothers and Sisters. They have their ups and downs, but they tend to work things out.

Tim Riggins is something of an enigma and not bad to look at either. :-)

Landry got interested in another girl finally, and then she told Landry she is a lesbian. That kid just has no luck at all with women.

I hate that Matt is no longer QB1. That kid already has abandonment issues enough.

I wouldn't count poor Matt out just yet. Not with the way things are shaping up in JD's family life. Then again, I could be wrong.

I, too, have a soft spot for Tim. He showed that he has a good heart when he took to the boy. So, Matt is still playing, but he isn't the starting QB? Do I understand that correctly?

Yep, you got it. Matt is riding the bench during his senior year.

But things are heating up between him and Julie. So I wonder, is coach going to kick his butt because of that (wait until you see) or if he's going to be playing again in spite of it because of the "freakshow of a father" JD has.

I haven't seen last night's ep, yet. I predict that Eric will do right by the team, though. I could be wrong.

I've been following this show also and in two weeks, Tyra's heart will be broken by her cowboy boyfreind. It was in the previews.

wow started the thread with the oh no it has teens showing some of what really happens in life not the reality tv junk. been a fan since day one and must say is one of the best shows on tv. solid cast and lots of Christian themes in it.

i am actually going back through the seasons on dvd and watching them.

i also watch tv shows online. I refuse to watch regular tv. commercials are spawn of Satan. yep started a anti-commercial cult.

for the record was kidding with last comment but i do hate commercials. I mean i already know the products i like and not gonna change cause of a commercial

I am a mixed fan of the show. I absolutely loved the first season, it was excellent. The second season I feel was lackluster and the show left its main audience and was in a quasi-jump the shark mode. I am looking forward to the third season, I have not viewed it yet due to having cable not dish.
