Awww, thanks to the three people on the forums that like me!

(Yeah, I realize others do, too, and that they didn't know about this thread. But I do confess that the past week or so I've been really struggling with the ol' "nobody likes me because I'm a big, bad moderator" attitude.)

My birthday itself was good. I made and canned 9 quarts of salsa, LOL! In the evening we went over to Kevin's parents' house and had cake.

It used to be, when I was a kid, 35 was old. And I know I'm getting old because my "inner person" doesn't feel a day over 20, and I only hear old people say stuff like that, LOL!

Aww, Tricia... it's ok to visit the low spot now and then, just don't stay there!

Even though I'm a day late, I still want to say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, TRICIA!

I don't usually come to the PFY folder, but I was bored, so I went looking for something exciting to read and found this thread. It sounds like your birthday went well. I hope that the smoke detectors didn't go off when you lit all those 35 candles, LOL!

LOL! Thanks, Melissa!

Actually, there IS an interesting story about blowing out the candles. It seems that my hair got a bit too close to some of the lit ones and actually poofed up in flame! I didn't see it - my brother-in-law quickly patted it out. But even that little bit did cause quite a stink, literally.

(And no, they didn't put 35 candles on it. I'm guessing it was more like 10.)

Happy late birthday, Tricia. I like ya...even after meeting you in person. Sorry it's so late...I didn't know about this thread until your mentioned your hair burning experience!

That happened on my 18th birthday. Somebody put trick candles on the cake. I thought they were out, and poof! Up started the candles again, and my hair caught fire. I didn't know either until somebody put it out.

Tricia, I "known" you for years now, from when I started over in singles. You don't see me running, do ya? Remember years ago when somebody started a "Tri..." thread over in singles for you, Trishy, Trista and I? Us "Tri...'s" have to stick together! I don't only like you, I love you, Tricia. You're my sister in Christ! We're blessed to know you!

Thanks, folks.

And please don't mind my pity party earlier in the thread. I'm doing fine, honestly. Consider it a bout of temporary insanity.
