Hello all, I'm new here. Before I start off with this intro I would like to say that I am a "weak" athiest (you'll find out what that means if we talk in the future). That being said, I want to make one thing perfectly clear: I am not here to influence anyone's faith and want the same respect. Now, would a non-believer come to a Christian forum? Well, for this I have two answers: 1) If it is allowed, having objective debates and 2) Talking to others regardless of religious backgrounds. Well, if you're still reading this, you may want to know more about me. I'm 18 years old and going into second year university for a specialist in biology and minor in chemistry (mostly organic). During this summer I'm doing a course in psychology. You may recognize some of what I say as I am a member at a different board called WorthyBoards where my username is ZerO (not planning to advertise). Well, down to more "nitty-gritty" information: My name is Nick W and I do have undifferentiated schizophrenia and will be in anger management (just diagnosed a few days ago). If anyone knows any psychology, the positive symptoms are hallucinations (visual, auditory and feeling on skin), and negative symptoms are diminished emotions (affective flattening), with the exception to anger. Please, do not use this against me. Also, please, do not infer that simply because I have a mental disorder, I do not have a diminished intelligence. If anyone chats to me, you'll find out I'm very objective rather than subjective, so I'll tend to analyze both sides of any situation without my beliefs (feelings/emotions are deadening anyways so no concerns there). That is all, sorry if I put anyone to sleep.
