My work office used to have a Christmas party each year but now we have the "Holiday" party. I guess somebody complained that the word Christmas was not a good idea. I want to wear the biggest, loudest, Christmas Jesus sweater I can find. I have been searching but the only thing I can find are T-shirts. Does anyone know where I can buy nice Jesus Christmas sweaters online? When people look at me during the party they won't be able to miss what my sweater says. I noticed that my office took a strange turn this year. No Christmas party but instead for Oct 31 we had the biggest largest ever halloween party complete with ghosts, witches, axe murders, etc. My office went all out and really outdid themselves for halloween. So I wore a nice shirt that explaind salvation and that Jesus can save you from going to hell. I got a lot of strange looks but at least they know where I stand. The other Christians at work were all cheering me on.

Now we can't do in-office Christmas parties OR Halloween stuff. If you want, I know of a place up here in Fargo that you might be able to have a sweatshirt made of this type.

I don't do Christmas myself, but here is something anyone can do, and you can be as obnoxious or as quiet and subtle as you choose to be with it. Go buy a plain herringbone knit pullover sweater (or something similar). Not a teeshirt-type, not the small-knit type, but a KNIT winter pullover sweater -- warm winter-wear-type stuff. Buy one with no design gowing down the main expanse of the front (and back, if you choose) -- one color, mainly, and very simple. Make sure it is a sweater in which the knit-stitches are large and very visible. Maybe like this one: http://www.bizrate.com/menssweatersvests/oid846004589__nwylf--.html Keeping the design SHORT and SIMPLE, draw on paper what you want to say. Have someone who is used to sewing and knitting mark out your design on the sweater, following its knit-stitches. Using a contrasting color, have them sew similar-weight yarn into the sweater's own stitches, to create your design. There -- you have your holiday sweater. I am doing one presently for Chanukka, making little Maccabee fighting-men around the bottom of it, then adding a menorah light on the upper left side of a deep-blue zipped cardagan. As one who does not practice Christmas, I think that people should be allowed to practice what they practice, but when people insist that everyone do Christmas or or say "merry Christmas," or do some other holiday they would not normally do, they have stepped out of line.

I sit under a heating vent at this place, C.M. I sweat wearing a short-sleeved shirt in the winter time. If I wear a knit sweater into work, I kid you not, they're going to find me melted into a puddle of water under my chair. Although, doing so would mean I could drop the fees for use of the sauna at the gym.

Hee-hee! Okay! Try this: Get a nice light-weight pullover with a smooth front. On the computer, create your design and print it out. Take it to someone who does athletic printing, and they will put your design on your shirt.
