I often see my doctor(s), because I have chronic illnesses, one of which is Chronic Kidney Failure. I see a ND (licensed/certified Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine), an MD, and a urologist. In the years I don't have to see doctors much, then I go once a year for a physical. And, this reminds me that I need to get my teens their check-ups. Thanks for the reminder!

I don't go for physicals...they always want to do more testing than necessary. If I get sick I will go, but that is pretty much it.

I'm 'invited' to go for a physical every year because of health issues. I do see the doctor more regularly than than though ~ depends on what the problem is!

How often do you go to the doctor for a physical? Never, unless absolutely required. Last time I was required it was when my dh retired and I lost my health care because of it; not yet old enough for Medicare I applied for health insurance --- they required the physical. Did I get it? No, it cost me $390.00 to be told I didn't met their standards. NEVER Again!!! Health Insurance is a dirty money for profit racket in co-hoots with every field of health care; I trust none of them --- in todays world.

In the past, never. Then, I'd go for my GYN visits when I was pregnant (4 kids in 6yrs). Skipped several years after that. Now, since my mother had breast cancer, an aunt died of ovarian cancer and another aunt had pre-cancerous lumps in her breast, I HAVE to go for yearly testing. As a runner, I do see my doctor several times a year for injuries. I'll ahve him checkout concerns then.

I haven't had a "physical" since I was a child. The only times I go to the doctor is if I have problems. However, I did have a GYN exam in December. I'll go to the GYN again later on this year to get my IUD removed for TTC. That said, for all my pregnancies I went to the OB/GYN. When/if I get pregnant again I probably won't seek medical care. If I do, it would be by a midwife. After that, when babe is a few months old, I'll come back to the states for an IUD insertion, and then have it replaced every 10 years until menopause. Otherwise, I probably won't go to a doc unless I have probs.
