Hi,

'Just thought I would make my first post on the Faith forum by offering something practical.

I wrote a 'How to become a Christian' explanation for use by personal evangelists and put it up on the internet in pdf format. That means you can print copies on a single sheet of paper (back to back) and have a copy when you want one to give it to someone who is wanting to know.

Here is the printable version if anyone would like it.

Just read your link. It's very good.

One minor point if I may. I like to use capital H when referring to Him or He.

Forgive me for mentioning it.

I read your link and I, too, think it is very good. I particularly like the Bible references you give for each point.

However, I would suggest that instead of saying that we receive Christ by praying a prayer, I would say that we receive Him through baptism (Acts 2:38; 22:16; 1 Corinthian 12:13).

Other than that minor point, you have written an excellent paper.

No, we recieve Christ by putting our faith and trust in His atonement through His death, burial and resurrection, period.
Not a prayer, not walking an aisle, not being dipped in water, sprinkled, or any act we could possibly do.
