Book about giving up the American Dream for God's vision. Just came out. You can go to the website www.visionallife.com to get the book.

Form the website:
Readers can expect to:
• Discover the steps for knowing God’s calling for their life.
• Get a clear picture of how one’s dreams can be used in carrying out God’s vision in their life and the kingdom of God.
• Learn principles to overcome the fear that keeps them from moving forward and achieving the vision.
• Uncover how faith plays a role in the vision process.

If you have ever read anything by Steve Sjogren, the servant evangelism guy, he wrote the foreword for this book. Also some top notch guys like Nelson Searcy, Tim Stevens, and Eric Swanson give endorsements. Ordered and waiting. I am friend of Jeff's and am a church planter in Cleveland.

I ordered this one on a recommendation from a friend. There is a chapter in this book titled Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness that every believer should read before serving God. He relates it to knowing God's vision for someone, but the gist of is that Christians need to have clean hearts, pure minds before pursuing a call from God.

Hope you enjoy as much as I have.

Blessings

OK

Finally finished up VisionalLife. Since I know Jeff, I kind of knew what the content of the book was, but was surprised (pleasantly), at how I saw myself in this book. For most of my life I have been chasing a dream only to see it never get off the ground and be constantly disappointed. Jeff's book has helped me refocus on a vision, not a dream. What has helped me big time is that I now have a plan!

Thanks Jeff

Here is a review I found on Amazon:

It is good to have ideas. Even better to have dreams. But the best thing is to have a God-given vision for your life, a reason to get up in the mornings, and keep going, a life-changing calling to be used for God's glory.

VisionalLife examines why some people have no vision and explains why it is important to have one. Not only that, but he teaches us practical ways to catch God's vision for your life or ministry.

I enjoyed reading VisionalLife. The stories held my interest, and the scripture and teaching seemed well-founded. My husband, as a pastor, has often asked churches what their vision is because it is important that the future pastor's vision matches the vision of the church.

The chapters are short and easy to read, yet are packed full with plenty to think about. This is one book that will not leave you high and dry, but each page encourages you to dig deeper, and to approach God for His vision for your life. This is a great book that will take you beyond dreaming, to actually having a concrete vision for the direction you should take.

Armchair Interviews says: Highly recommended.

Jeff,

I heard that you have another book coming out later this year or next year. Is that true and is there a website?
