I know, that's just crazy you think, eating just once a week?!. A person would soon starve to death if they only ate once a week. Yet, some who call themselves Christian do just that. They only time they "feed" from Gods word is once a week at church. Then they wonder why they do not hear from God, or have trouble with temptation or controlling their thoughts. I once read somewhere that if someone truly has met with Jesus and has given their life to Him, they could not help but be changed. Their life would show it and their desire would be to spend as much time as they could with Him. How often do you “eat”?

People worship church. They are taught to worship church. Pastors need money to support their ministry and encourage people to worship church. Funny thing though...I don't see where church saves us in the bible.

One of the first verses that came alive to me was: "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4 I not only eat it, I chew on it, and chew on it, and chew on it! I love God's Word! Yes, many are starving and they do not realize it! Please pray that those we love will desire God's Word, over the Newspaper, Junk Mail, Magazines, T.V. etc.

I eat every day at home. On Sundays I eat out twice - both at church. I will often eat out (at church) on Wednesdays (Bible study) and Mondays (Prayer Meeting/Cell Group). Recently though, my Pastor has been berating those that only eat in his place once a week on a Sunday. I do not agree with this line. quote:

One would want to know why you would after having read the bible and met with Christ, would again have to read the bible again? Is it as someone has described that we can look in a mirror and once we have turned away we forget who we have seen? Now if any man has seen someone as great as Christ, one meeting would be enough, but as some say, we have to look again at His picture to remind ourselves of how great He really is, is really just making nonsense of their first claim to have met someone so great. The fact is, satan was in the presense of God and he does not have to read scripture to remember his foolishness. Likewise, we who have seen our sins and the love of God need not be religious as if our religiously reading scripture in some way makes up for our unworthness or in some way will manufacture a faith that does not exist or even worst make up for what we find lacking in our walk with Christ. The word of God is not like the bread of men, for after having eaten the bread of men we hunger but is not the bread of Chirst once eaten enough for all eternity? Scriptue is not a set of rules that men need to committ to memory or needs to read again and again least they forget who they are in Christ. Once our minds have been transformed and Christ as we claim lives in us, we are to be most pittied of all men to become slaves to such rituals as if we were mere unbelievers.
