I'm not sure where you are. If you are in the US look for a local literacy coucil or an adult education program. A library may be able to direct you to either of these.

English is a difficult language to learn, no doubt. I think your best bet at learning conversational English is to watch movies, listen to audio/the radio, and interact heavily with anyone and everyone you can in English. Don't feel self-conscious, just do it.

I think your best bet at learning conversational English is to watch movies, listen to audio/the radio, and interact heavily with anyone and everyone you can in English. Don't feel self-conscious, just do it. Great advice! I would recommend this also. It is important that you immerse yourself in the English language by watching movies, television, and also by making English speaking friends. Since the U.S. has many people from foreign countries who speak their home language, it's easy for someone to "hang-out" with those who speak the same language. The best way to learn spoken English is to get acquainted with those who speak it. I have known people who have lived in the U.S. for many years, yet still cannot speak English because they stay in their "language comfort-zone". I have a friend who is from Japan hardly spoke any English when she came to Hawaii for college. She's been here for about 2 years and now speaks fairly well conversational English, as she has made friends with English speaking people. Don't be embarrassed about asking how to say certain things, or what they mean. Don't worry so much about pronunciation either. If you find something difficult to pronounce, just ask.

I quit my job recently. I have been looking for a job in computer science. Last week I took part in an interview of a foreign company. However, I realized my English needs some improvement. Or: I realized my English is not so good. Your English is good considering the fact that you are still learning. I only made a few corrections.
