A friend gave me some cd's of James Macdonald this past week. All were about improving a marriage through faith. I have listened to them multiple times, working at digesting all the thoughts... I hope that my wife will listen to them too...

One thing that jumped out, that I would like to share... Its so obvious, but sometimes when you hear it expressed by someone else, and when its said well, it seems more powerful...

With respect to resolving issues... three things that must be...

Go with a tender heart.
Be ready to forgive.
Be ready to hear your role in how things went.

Concise, and powerful.

I just thought I would share.

Good advice, thank you.

This one stood out at me.
I take this to mean be ready to hear the other side of the problem.
Be ready to ask for forgiveness as well as giving.

I think the key word there is GO...and to have a tender heart is the opposite of what most of society tells us...but it is one of true traits of Christ.
