Hi brothers and sisters thanks again for your prayers,
I had a reaction, (hot skin and itching even though cool time of day) to the internal antibiotics I'm taking because of my thumb injury. I've been taking benedryl type antihistamin which is helping but the hotness and itching comes back periodically.. I've had reactions to amoxicillin in the past years ago ( hot hives all over my body) and now cephalexin is giving me trouble. The doctor put me on another antibiotic. I am now on the antibiotic clindamycin for 7 days starting today.
Please pray that the reaction to the the cephalexin will stop and not get worse and that I won't have any reaction or side effects from the clindamycin I am now taking. I don't know how many options of other antibiotics that will be left for me to use if I keep getting allergic reactions from antibiotics.
My thumb is looking much better, even though it is still "ow-ee" I can't type with it and it hurts when I move my hand too much, so I'll typ one handed. I'm right handed and my right thumb is the hurt one so I am basically out of commission for a while. Doctors orders: no doing dishes.

Father,
Thank you that the thumb is looking better. Please bring about complete healing and give relief from the reactions to the antibiotic. Help so that his new antibiotic will not do harm and so that all will go well. Thank you. We pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Father, thank You that Imnotmyown's thumb is getting better. Heal her of this reaction, and help her to have no reaction to this new drug. Thank You Father that You are in control. Bless Imnotmyown in the ways that You know are best for her, and we thank You for her presence here on the forum. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord I pray for Imnotmyown for complete and speedy healing.
Lord i pray and ask your protect for her body from all negative reactions to the meds.
I pray Lord all medication will work in a positive way and bring healing.
Prepare her body Lord to accept and use the medication effectively for healing of all infection.
Thank You Lord for your healing touch on Imnotmyowns body.

PLEASE read up about Clindamycin!! I reacted to it several months after stopping the meds. My mother was given it recently and it carried a warning to 'only use this medication if your life is in danger without it'.
ANY stomach upset should be taken very seriously.
Praying for you to be protected from this horrid medication.
