I was wondering if any of ya'll had a story like mine.

This happened in 1994, at Paramount's Carowinds. My dad and mom went to Christian music day, my mom was pregnant w/ me. I don't know who the other bands were.
But Petra was the last band of the night. So when they came up there rocking out and stuff and my mom had to sit down, I was kicking her insides. I was dancing inside her. After I was born and I guess about a year or so old my parents would turn on the tv and put in the Carman "Addicted to Jesus" tape. When the song "Our Turn Now" would come on, it has Petra in it, I would crawl over to the tv and stand up, put my hands on the tv and dance.
My mom wrote their fan club several years ago and told them about it, Petra sent me an autographed picture for my birthday that year. It's the picture from the "God Fixation" album so I have those guys autographs. But it's so cool, John Schlitt wrote, "Happy Birthday Stephanie" on it so you couldn't pay me to get rid of it.

Do you have a story like mine??

Umm... well.... when my mom was pregnant for me she would watch the tv show "Golden Girls" while doing her exercises. After I was born everytime "Golden Girls" was on I would stop whatever I was doing and just sit and watch it. But I don't have any autographs of the women on the show. I do have other random autographs though because my friend's brother worked at a Christian radio station and would send me pics that visiting bands had autographed.

I went to CMD at Carowinds that day! My wife (to be) and I were "counselors" - we were supposed to be available for any kids who wanted to talk about accepting Christ, rededicating their life, etc. I think the Newsboys were there that day, too (if they weren't, it was one of the few times they didn't play CMD), but I don't really remember who else played. That's the only time I've seen Petra - they just never played around Charlotte that much now that I think of it. Nice story.

We adopted our daughter from Russia when she was 11 months old. I have several CDs of classical Russian music. When she was small - literally just walking, she would love to "dance" to those CDs with Russian music - especially the Sabre Dance. While she enjoyed most of the music we played around the house, she really would become a dancing machine when the Russian music was playing. Of course, at such a young age, she had no way of knowing what music came from where, but I feel pretty sure she had heard some of those Russian tunes while she was still in the orphanage, because she would light up like a Christmas tree whenever they came on. I think there definately is something that gets "to you" when you hear music at a very young age, or even before you're born.
