I"m feeling better but am continuing to deal with the problems with Earthlink...they took an extra $150 out of my account that's impacted my budget...blech

What did Earthlink do kimmie? And how did they get acces to your account?

Well, Earthlink is my internet provider and they pull the monthly fee directly from my account. I had to get my DSL reactivated and somehow in all of that it looked as if I cancelled DSL early and they've been trying to charge me the $150 early deactivation fee.
I'm pretty unhappy with them right now, and if I could afford that fee I'd leave them, but I can't so I'm not.
I do plan to send a very long letter to someone there, though. All of this hassle and ineptitude leading to this. Blech.

Well, I'm happy to say that all is well and the power company quite happy to work with me :)
I found the address and names of the president of the company and the executive over customer service at earthlink and will be composing a letter to send them in the next week or so.

Kimmy, I hope they refund that money! That rots! When I was with AOL(a moment of total insanity) they continued to withdraw the money for two months after I cancelled the service...totally irritating!

lol Bill...that's exactly what AOL did. Offerered that to me like it was the grand prize  They didn't quite get the picture that I wouldn't have canceled in the first place if I liked their interent service.
