I have never been a fan of Lauren Holly anyway, and I do not like her character here. I do hope they ditch her.

Yeah, Ziva definitely likes Tony, she's just seriously passive aggressive about it.

Good season premiere I must say.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see all of the episode. My wife and I had been out walking, then went to put her handicapped foster sister to bed. While sitting with my f-i-l, he kept channel hopping - and I think he did it just to aggravate me! He knows that I watch NCIS, and everytime he came to it alst night, I sat up higher in my seat hoping that he'd notice. He either didn't see me, or he did and just ignored me. Would someone fill me in on the details of the first 45 minutes? Thanks!

ALL the NCIS guys are cutie patooties, even Ducky in his own special way.....

Katelin: I wonder what Ducky looked like when he was younger.
Gibbs: Like Illia Kuriakan.

If you think he is cute now, get some old Man From U.N.C.L.E. episodes and check him out then. My wife tells me he was really something!. (I wouldn't know...)

I agree with you Dave...don't like the Director. I did early on, but her character has taken a serious turn towards personal gain that should be a red flag as a Director.

I know that we know that "what's his name" is dead, but does anyone else know - will they make that discovery or will he remain fish food? Will they find out that the Director shot him? oooh, that would be an interesting twist .

Duane, if you go to CBS.com you can watch the full episode.

I hope that is how they write it so she ends up leaving. I personally am sick of the way they have her ... I can't say it the way I want, it isn't coming out right Ok, they have that thing where she keeps reminding gibbs of their sexual past and I'm sick of it. I didn't believe it the first time they brought it up and I still don't. I can't see gibbs with someone like her at all. Someone like that cournal, yes, (sorry, can't spell it and spell check can't figure out what I want to say) but the thing with her makes sense to me, but not the director. ugh

We don't. I think Doink is saying that it would be an interesting twist if they wrote the plot that way.

yep, instead of killing her off...send her to leavenworth for life

I think that eventually the character of Jeanne (or however it's spelled) will come back. It may take time, however. I doubt anyone will go after her now that Daddy Arms Dealer is dead, since everyone was using her to get to him. Maybe her and DiNozzo will actually hit it off for real this time.

I like that idea! That way, once or twice per season Gibbs could go to Kansas just to torment her!

I'm just disappointed that they killed the Frog. Okay, so he was a bad guy. At least he was a likeable bad guy, not like Ari or Kort. If they had kept him alive and in protective custody, he could have made guest appearances off and on throughout the coming seasons and helped the NCIS team track down the bad guys.

By the way, do any of you think he was telling the director the truth about her father? I do and here's why. He was trying to turn himself in to protect his daughter. He knew the only person who could help him was the director. Why would he tell her that he had bribed her father and that his death really was a suicide if it wasn't true? He could have claimed that the CIA killed him in order to deflect the directors wrath. Instead, he told her the truth.

I was disappointed, too. A co-worker claims that it wasn't really him at the end...I think it was. What do ya'll think?

I think he was being totally truthful and Ms. Thing needs to get over herself.

Even though Tony took up with Jeanne to get to her father, I believe that he really fell in love with her. I hope she comes back to him.

Right, but I was just pointing out that that's how they got started, using her to get to her father. Maybe I shoulda phrased it differently.

I'm not sure how I feel about Jenny. She's got some serious psychosis going on, though, I think. Gibbs really nailed it when he was talking about her lie detector test...she'd fail miserably. The ACTRESS is doing a great job in that role....but I dunno...

Change of topic but...I just continue to love Abby's relationship with Gibbs. They're way too cute.

I at first thought it was him in the water at the end but my husband disagreed. I'm not sure it looked like him but it didn't. But if you're dead & floating in the water you're not likely to look that much like yourself.LOL I used to like Jenny but well with her obsession with Frog it's become a bit much. I really liked Tony with Jeanne, I agree I think he's in love with her. I hope she comes back. Abby is a hoot. I love her character. Her relationship with Gibbs is interesting.

quite honestly I was bored with the entire obsession story line. It seemed to take up almost the entire year and I just did not find it that interesting. I'm glad they killed him off so we can move on.

No director at all in tonight's episode!

So was that navy guy shot simply because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

And the whole deal with the brakes (which, by the way, is not technically correct. My husband has driven with failed brakes - NO break pads - before and lived to tell the tale!) didn't make sense to me. The son had put them on the car not to kill the girl but to what - kill his father so that he and the girl could live happily ever after??

One last question - that note from Jeanne to Tony: did it say she was considering coming back or NOT considering coming back? And why would he have to choose, if she was NOT considering it (which is what I thought it said)?

I had the same questions. It was a very confusing episode. Our local station broke in twice for long messages about storm fronts so I thought maybe I'd missed the parts that would tie things together. Guess not.

That was my favorite part of the episode! No director!

I also don't buy the ending where Tony decided to let Jeanne go and get on with his life.

Even though I don't like the director, I am looking forward to next weeks episode because Jethro has to deal with an ex-wife, an ex-lover, and a current lover. That should be interesting.

By the way, is NCIS creator Donald Bellisario obsessed with the name Jethro? On NCIS you have Leroy Jethro Gibbs and on JAG you had Admiral Albert Jethro Chegwidden. What is up with that?
