Yo brotha, where you been at?

Seriously though, I would let him know that he has been in the back of my mind (and sometimes the forefront!) for a long time and I have conducted myself accordingly--to honor him. I would tell him what an enormous respect that God has placed in my heart for him. I would let him know that I am there to help him fulfill his destiny and to walk through this "side" of reality together. MOst of all..........I am here to SERVE you. Yes, I will even rejoice in doing your laundry!! Peace out brotha!

I've thought about this, and here is what I've come up with:

I'd nervously reach out my right hand and gently take hold of hers, and then indicate for us to walk toward this one park bench overlooking a horizon which was ablaze by the setting sun. Then, when we are sitting close on the bench, and I could feel the fabric of her gown against my arm, our hands still clasped onto the other, I would take a deep breath.. and in my slow measureed exhale, I would let out a lifetime of uncertainty. Because, there would be no room for uncertainty, in my heart, while she was in my life. And in that one moment of sunset, I would let the beating of my heart, echo through our touch, to reassure her of all of the unspoken words which would fail by comparison to what I was feeling.

This, would be our first moment together.

Wow...thats beautiful

Ditto for me - no words.

I'd cry, then I'd pinch him, then I'd crack up laughing and cry at the same time, then I'd punch him, and crack up again and then I'd really cry. And it would come like a flood breaking a dam. All the tears that I held back so as not to fall apart, coz I was the stronger one, the shoulder others would cry on. The tears only God saw. The tears that spoke the heartache I could never put into words to pray - and once those were emptied - the tears of unspeakable joy!!

I have prayed and waited SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long to have you in my life. You are truly an answered prayer and a dream come true. All those years of not dating and praying to God about you only makes this moment and every moment with you more wonderful.
I have deamed about you and thought about you so much and couldn't wait until the day we met. I didn't understand what God was doing at first. Keeping us apart. But the moment i realized you the one for me, it all made sense. God created you just for me, and I just for you and now how our lives fit. Our time apart was when God was shaping us into the Husband you are and the Wife i am. I love you so much, that words will never be able to fully express it, and my actions will never show it enough, how deep my love goes and how even as a young person my love for you was strong. you are my best friend and my confidant, my hero, and my first and last love. All of me i give, the best and the worst, the crazy and ditzy, and most of all my heart. For next to my Lord and Savior, you are the best thing that ever happened to me.

SisterGirl's speach to her Husband:
*****************************************************************************************************

Though I may not be where I want to be, I thank God I'm not what I use to be. And though there may times I might break your heart and you may not understand always know this...

That everything I give is given from the heart
That everything I do is for The Lord
And that no matter what happens in our life, I will always be there for you no matter what.

I will bear your armor, when you feel like you can't take it, I will depend on God to minister to you according to his riches and glory to keep you strong and pray for you according to the Word.

I am in it for the long haul and what God has put together, no man will put asunder. Not even us!

I will laugh with you, cry with you, hold it down for you.

Make sure your house is a home, that your wife is God fearing, and that with the blessing of the lord and fruits of my labor, we will laugh at the days to come, and I will always depend on God for the rest of our days that I will be the best help meet and beam for you that He allows me to be.

You will always have a friend in me.

:)

I've been crying these tears, and some of them, in words, have been even seen on these boards. The same tears you speak of, yet God has heard them all and is answering me now.. :)

Man, that guy'd be all bruised up from you! HAHA!

I'm not really sure what I would say right now.
Just that I know that we'll be so very happy together and nothing on earth will seperate us because God has brought us together and that our relationship is in His hands.
That I love him so much.. siigh.
I'll have to meet him first then I can tell you.
Back in august a wrote a poem for him though..
what do you think?

A Prayer for Him
10-8-05

I have a prayer I壇 like to pray
For you, the man, I値l meet one day
I pray that you will trust in Him
Every day, until the end
I hope that you will talk a lot
To Christ, our Lord, when hopes are shot
I pray you cling to what is true
And everyday, your faith renewed
I pray you trust, I hope you wait
I wish you値l love and never hate
And when you池e down, walking through town
I pray you take a look around
Look at the things that He has made
Think of the prayers that you have prayed
And maybe, perhaps, you値l think of me too
Know that someone loves you true
You imagine and wonder if we will ever meet
Could there be such a girl? And a relationship so sweet?
Of course there can be
For that girl is me
So trust in Him every day
And give Him your time in every way
Trust in Him with all your life
For one day we値l meet, and I値l be your wife.

You had written a poem about your future husband? Nice! So, you are a friendly Gorax? I was a smuggler/slicer once, and then I became a bounty hunter. :)

Oh you know, your poem reminded me of something that's been happening in my thought life.. I have been hearing the thoughts "I love you." It's at random, and I am wondering if God's trying to impress that upon me.. that He loves me.. or is it that, perhaps, in a romantic supernatural way, God is allowing me to hear the love of the one that He would have me with? Perhaps she does love me, even now?

I wonder if I know her, or if I have never met her...

Hey, I'm a slicer too! well at the moment.
At nights and on weekends I turn into a gorax! :P :P

I don't know about that "i love you" thing, but it sounds cool.

Every now and then I'll pray for my future husband, for him to be strengthened and to get through the day ok. Just like my poem.
It makes me feel close to him

I know, though, that when I do meet him, the love that I'll have for him will be far stronger and greater than I imagine.
When God's in the midst of all things, everything's better and sweeter!

I have a scripture I have prayed over my future mate for YEARS now and the
Lord said that when I "see" my husband, I'll "see" Christ in him first and my past
will melt away! What will I say? My poetry says it all!

Has anyone considered writing love letters to their future spouse? I have done this for years and have found it to be one of the great illustrations of my faithfulness to him.

You know, to be honest...I haven't really thought of writing a poem to my future husband yet. I think about him from time to time, and the speach I wrote about what I want to say to him holds true...but I don't think about that subject too much...only every once and awhile when the subject comes up, ya know???

I'm jerky...huh?

Thats a cool idea, I don't write letters, but I talk to him...like I talk to God, how weird is that?

I do have a prayer (oh by the way FadedGlory that was AWESOME). This was given to me almost 10 years ago when I thought I was REALLY struggling with being alone LOL (I'm seriously laughing out loud here!!) Its an excerpt from the diary of a missionary Temple Gairdner. At the time it meant nothing and i just rolled my eyes - but I kept it. Recently I took it out and read it again....1 box of tissues later...it now has prominent place on my dresser table. I "get it" now.

That I may come near to him
Draw me nearer to Thee than to him
That I may know him
Make me to know Thee more than him
That I may love her with the perfect love of a perfect whole heart
Cause me to love Thee more than him
And most of all

That nothing may be between me and him
Be Thou between us every moment
That we may be constantly together
Draw us into seperable loneliness with Thyself

And when we meet breast to breast
My God, let it be on Thine own.

Yes. I do write to my future husband. I guess I started doing it as kind of a sign that I'm trusting the Lord to bring someone into my life who is exceedingly, abundantly above all that I ask or hope. I dream about the day that I will be able to hand him those letters. Can you imagine what an awesome wedding gift that will be.

If I were to meet my future husband, I'd love to tell him:

My Love,

You and I have waited so long to find each other, and so long to be together. But I wouldn't take back one single moment, for I know the Lord was sculpting us, and shaping us into better people. Until we met, I had no idea that such a person as you existed.

I want to experience all that is mundane with you. I want to look at you in bed next to me, with your hair all a mess. I want to slip out of bed, brush my teeth, and greet you in the morning with a kiss. I want to hold your hand and say a prayer, and thank God for one more day to wake up next to you in the presence of the Savior.

And I want you to know, that I have prayed for you for so long. That you would be protected. That you would be shaped. And that you would love me, through God's looking glass. To always strive to love me the way Jesus has. And I have prayed that I could become the woman that makes it worth it. Worth crossing a thousand rivers, and traversing the big ugly chasms of life to be with.

I don't know how many hours, or days or weeks we have on earth together. All I know is that it won't be enough. I want to find the beaches and walk them with you. Climb the mountains, and look at the valleys, and lay in the afternoon grass with my head on your chest and listen to the breeze rustle the trees and hear your heart beating.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for us next.

Exactly. I think that's why God lead me to write that. To show my faith in Him and what He's already shown me.

Hmm, I am not in SWG now, but I thought about going back. I am on the Sunrunner server, you on the same perchance?

"When God's in the midst of all things, everything's better and sweeter!"

Awesome thought there. .and it's true. I know this is the case with a female friend of mine and I. God literally has brought us together as friends by way of a web forums a few years ago. We disagreed alot at first, hehe. Over the years God has also given us the exact same scripture at times.. and things that she has prayed for for me, have come to being.. even when we weren't talking for a while... which I expressed on my site, and she saw that God was doing in my life (having me chase wisdom).. and thus, prompted us to talk again.

I don't know that she and I will be husband and wife, but the total open heartedness, and the spiritual and mental connection we have is great. We stay in contact and we are careful with our expression of feelings, heh. I know that she has a lot of qualities I do seek in a woman. Faithfulness, meekness, seeking God's will.

She is divorced of seven years, and I'd like anyone to pray for her. She wants reconciliation with her exhusband, if it be God's will, for him to turn his heart.
