Every now and then I'll pray for my future husband, for him to be strengthened and to get through the day ok. Just like my poem. It makes me feel close to him I know, though, that when I do meet him, the love that I'll have for him will be far stronger and greater than I imagine. When God's in the midst of all things, everything's better and sweeter! Hmm, I am not in SWG now, but I thought about going back. I am on the Sunrunner server, you on the same perchance? "When God's in the midst of all things, everything's better and sweeter!" Awesome thought there. .and it's true. I know this is the case with a female friend of mine and I. God literally has brought us together as friends by way of a web forums a few years ago. We disagreed alot at first, hehe. Over the years God has also given us the exact same scripture at times.. and things that she has prayed for for me, have come to being.. even when we weren't talking for a while... which I expressed on my site, and she saw that God was doing in my life (having me chase wisdom).. and thus, prompted us to talk again. I don't know that she and I will be husband and wife, but the total open heartedness, and the spiritual and mental connection we have is great. We stay in contact and we are careful with our expression of feelings, heh. I know that she has a lot of qualities I do seek in a woman. Faithfulness, meekness, seeking God's will. She is divorced of seven years, and I'd like anyone to pray for her. She wants reconciliation with her exhusband, if it be God's will, for him to turn his heart. [offtopicness]I RP at a SW site every so often. Wow, that's amazing about your friend. Something like that has happened to me three years ago. I met my best friend online. We had both prayed for friends and we ended up meeting! I couldn't ask for a better friend. [/offtopicness] if I were to talk to my future husband right now I'd say, "It's about time!! WHERE have you BEEN?!"

Her friendship has helped my singleness, even though she's a few hundred miles away. Yes, we have met, and was it ever great to see her in person after four years of talking!! Right now I'd be telling my future wife.. Ok, now, what's holding you up? Is it me? Is it you? Are you dating a bad man now? Are you in the Far East? Where are you from? Can you just pray to God to make it so that we run into each other SOON?! :)

You met your best friend on the internet a year before I met MY best friend on the internet!! we've seen each other four times now. HA!!! if I find out my future husband is someone I know already I'd say.. "I can't believe it is you, for so long we've known each other. I hoped but never imagined that one day my dream would come true and the Lord would give us each other." OR "It's about TIME you decided to fall in love with me!!!" rotlf! this is kind of fun!

I cannot even begin to think what I'd say, because I do not believe words can express the depth of my love and devotion to him.

I wish it wasn't so late and maybe I would be able to write something more emphatic and deep but...Probably sounds too corny and pre-heated, but the line "You complete me" kind of sums it up in a short sentence. Though I know on the day we meet I will have so much more to say that more fully encompasses the depth of my devotion and desire to love him as Christ loves me. For now, this song carries what's in my heart for him: 'Be' -Suzanne Brewer I will hold you circle you in my arms while you weep Tears of years gone by and suffering you could just not speak And I will come to you and be your peace And I will come to you and be I will be your strength and certainty staying still beside you And I will hold your hand and be your peace And I will hold your hand and be I will be your light in darkness guiding you to safety And I will stay at your side and be your peace And I will stay at your side and be

I dwell very much within Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiates, Song of Solomon and Job lately.. hehe.

i agree with everyone who said this was inspiring...gives me hope just reading through. i really think the primary reason we're here is to learn what love is & how to do it. i don't think i'll really be able to say anything when this hits me...& i'm more of a show than a tell person :). i might say something similar to (in the words of one of my best friends) "all i want is to be embraced, so get over here & embrace me dang it!"

I'd say: My Love; my Cover, my Provider, my Priest, my Best Friend; Where have you been all my life?!! Here I am. Your helpmate; your missing rib; Your trustworthy companion; your best friend; Your wife; the mother of your children; Your lover; your greatest fan. I will submit to you; I will respect you; I will trust you; I will love you unconditionally; with a love that endures. And so, "Entreat me not to leave you, or to return from following after you, For where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. And where you die, I will die and there I will be buried. May the Lord do with me and more if anything but death parts you from me."

I sang a song to my future wife tonight in my car on the way home after buying a sub after work. Actually, I didn't buy it, but a co-worker did to repay me buying her one when she forgot her card. I know it's seemingly crazy, but I sang my future wife a song. I believe God really has promised that she exists. I am learning the difference in believing and BELIEVING. :) I BELIEVE I am saved by Jesus Christ's precious sacrifice, through my faith. .. but I was only.. slightly hoping that He had a woman for me. I was thinking that it was all up to us. Now, I know He has promised me a wife because of what God showed me directly in scripture by way of a dream and a "voice" in my thoughts. God has really taught me in the past six months alot about love. There is no fear in love. Fear has torments, perfect loves casts fear away. So, in that I learned to not fear pain. Love others as they need to be loved. Not as you need, not as they want, not as you think they need, but as they truly need. Discerning love is where it's at. If they lack the wisdom to know what love they need, the should seek God's wisdom. I am learning to love despite the pain I feel, and to love with self-sacrifice. To love by prayer, by seperation from them, by a willingness to give up all of what I hope, desire, want, and need.. in order that they have what they hope, desire, want and need. This is happening by way of a female friend. In fact, all of these lessons have been taught by female friends. To be broken, but without fear of pain. To love as they need, not expecting love in return. To sacrifice one's heart so in prayer that the one you care about has thier desires, in spite of your own. Hmm.. Perhaps I am all the more closer to her now?

I want to feel this way about my future husband: Anne Bradstreet To My Dear and Loving Husband: If ever two were one, then surely we. If ever man were loved by wife, then thee; If ever wife was happy in a man, Compare with me, ye women, if you can. I prize thy love more than whole mines of gold Or all the riches that the East doth hold. My love is such that rivers cannot quench, Nor ought but love from thee, give recompense. Thy love is such I can no way repay, The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray. Then while we live, in love let's so persevere That when we live no more, we may live ever.

This is my life scripture, given to me from the Lord when I was first born again and someday I will say it to my husband: "Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; it's flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, nor can rivers drown it. If a man would give for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised." Song of Solomon 8:6,7 My love, we have overcome many "waters" of adversity but nothing could keep what God has ordained apart! Rebecca
