Thanks for that explanation. I experienced similar feelings about doing church drama, even though I wrote and directed rather than acting. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I understand your point, and I think it makes sense. Sorry for my self-righteous post yesterday.

Anyone wanna give me a hug too? Just becuz??? I've had a horrid day ... was having really steady contractions all morning ... they stopped this afternoon when I sat down for an extended period. No big deal -- disappointing, but that's it. Hubby went to work for 2:30 -- and was home by 5:30 -- without a job. They said he wasn't performing adequately ... his average was 2.98 and they required a 3.0. We just found it odd that they terminated him immediately before he was supposed to go on parental leave. (He had submitted a letter a couple of months ago saying he was going on parental leave from approximately 08/08/08 until 03/31/09. Tomorrow was my original due date.

I'm very sorry Kara. I suggest that hubby make an appointment with an employment attorney.
