I'm thankful that I managed to get up this morning (I slept WAY late and was late to work).

I'm thankful for my new friend that I met online and the fact that we have become great friends even though there is 1400 miles between us.

I'm thankful for my students (even though they drive me nuts)

I'm thankful for my family that loves me no matter what.

I'm thankful for the person who sent me a note to tell me that they gave me stars on one of my posts. I love knowing who the stars came from -- and which of my posts was so fabulous! [sm=icon_smile_super.gif]

Thankyou Lord, for hands that work. A brain that thinks, feet that don't hurt, legs that are pain free and work. Friends that call to check up on me. Parents that care.

A job that is easier right now (helps to have less stress in job when sick). For future health. For his healing.

I thank God for all of the opportunities he has lain before me in my career. I thank Him for the friends that he has put in my life. I thank Him for my wonderful, beautiful daughter. He is so faithful!

I'm thankful for some answers to some medical things going on. I still have unanswered questions, but at least some of them have been answered.

I am thankful that He sent His only son to die for me. Period. Anything more than that is just icing on the cake.
If we NEVER have anything else in this life to be thankful for, isn't that one reason enough and then some????

Good Post ~
I am so thankful for many thing TODAY.....that I can drive to work in Chicago rush hour traffic and praise Him and have pure joy and peace and pray over all the poor souls who look lost and miserable....I thank God I can talk to Him and ask for his guidance on ANY subject and He will love me and respect me...and answer me...whoa!!! I am thankful that a man whom I called for the first time {he and I have had many email converstaions about the Lord back and forth...getting to know each other}well he was going south in his conversations so I warned him once...then twice....then *click* Praise God as I told Him this is not God honoring nor respectful....I praise God that He has risen the standard in my life and is leading me to His best and it IS gonna be good, in His time.... [:D]!!!!
Ok I can keep going....like thanks for the tuna sandwich I didn't have to make and blah blah blah.....lol
God rocks~~!!!! And what a rock He is!

I am thankful for God's remarkable creativity. I was in the grocery store earlier today and just couldn't pass up the pineapples. They're so neat! All spikey and thorny looking, but in the center is a sweet sweet treat! Hmm.. there's bound to be some sort of object lesson that could be derived from that... [sm=icon_smile_idea.gif]

I can thank God for...today. [:)] Today is what the dictionary would define as a perfect day. It's 70 degrees. The clouds in the sky are those really soft puffy-looking ones that look painted on. Birds are singing their praises all over the place. And in a little while, my brother and I are taking our frizbee to the park to toss it around.

Does it get any better than this?[:D]

I am thankful that I'm not DEAD right now. Two years ago I had an unknown disease and NOT A SINGLE doctor could do anything about it. It lasted for almost six months. I was barely able to function or get out of bed, to the point where I thought I was going to die. (I actually PRAYED to die at one point.) Somehow--gradually--I got better and now I'm in full health.

Praise God.
