Next question: Who on these forums deserves the most teasing...and why?
I'd have to go with Karlie 'cause she can take it.

Yes, but her shoes scare me. I haven't been able to handle high heels for years. I'd probably break my neck if I tried to wear them now.

Who deserves the most teasing? I don't know if I can narrow it down to one person... Anyone who lets me get away with it and dish it back I suppose...

I know you were making a joke, but I have to say this. When we both get to heaven, I want to meet you (assuming I haven't done so here) and walk around a while... chewing gum.

You know who else I wanna meet? I have a video on my youtube account that talks about the origins of "Amazing Grace". It says that wherever you see the words to Amazing Grace written, you will see the following. "Words: John Newton
Melody: Unknown"

When I get to heaven, I wanna meet that slave called "Unknown"!

Challenges? For me they are health related. Like Rach, I've had depression from a very young age.

Yes, depression is anger turned inwards.

Also being tired and in pain all the time is also a challenge.

His grace is sufficient for any challenge. Sometimes, though, we don't or can't seem to get that grace flowing through us. I'm about to have a breakthrough; I feel it coming.

I thrived on self-imposed challenges, like bearing and raising two children; making a troubled marriage work.
But challenges like facing the empty nest and having my body wear out twenty years sooner than most seniors--those challenges take my breath away. However, the more I stew and plod to seek answers, the more emotionally drained I become.
I began reflection on a hymn that I always loved, Great is Thy Faithfulness. It was, and still is a testimonial song for me. He is faithful, season after season, year after year He's earned my trust. I can entrust my wayward son to Him. I can wait, with the peace-that-passes-understanding, until He makes my path clear for the final years of my life.

Terri, we did get to church, and had a much-needed conversation with the Adult Sunday School teacher. Two weeks ago, he'd said some things that sounded seeker-friendly, which disturbed me deeply. We were able to clear up some misunderstandings, which was good!

As usual, I had a headache, so I zoned out during part of the sermon. But what I heard was excellent!

How was your church?
