Hey Cammo! You finally got the place up and running! Cool!

Blue Mountains? Been there. No snow at the time though, but it was jolly cold!

Temperature wise it's about right in Summer. But yes, in winter it's quite cold.

I know this first hand - I decided I wanted to head up there one day on my own. Mind, this was when I was about 10 to 12, folks, and the Blue Mountains would be about 100km from here by road or train (that's about 62 miles for those who use the rather antiquated Imperial system )

Today I'm feeling much better. I don't know what it was last night. I guess I just needed sleep.

When I went to the Blue Mountains, it was the start of April.

That's awesome that your family have offered to take you on holiday with them. Any ideas where you'll be going?

Hey Trish, I assume you were talking to me....

Yes! I know exactly where we'd be going. The Outer Banks of North Carolina. To the same hotel that my grandparents used to take my sister and I to when we were younger. I got a chance to take my own kids there in '03 and didn't think I'd be able to get back for quite some time, if ever. To go there with my sister and our kids would just be so incredible.

Cammo, I'm glad you're feeling better today.

I'll do the intro thing, too, just in case.
I'm divorced with 2 kids. Going to be 41 next month. Self-employed for the last 19 years. Love animals and books. That's me in a nutshell (which is a very apropos description )

Hi Cammo! I see you finally got your thread up! Woo Hoo! Fun isn't it? Well to continue the tradition, I bring you a "housewarming" gift, some brownies from the island. Enjoy!

LOL, I forgot to reply to this.

Thanks! One thing though, it's not a house. It's a corner.

So it's a "Cornerwarming"...

Nah, that doesn't sound so good...

I've eaten those noodle cup things in front of the computer. And I have an icecream spill on my (newish, wireless) keyboard...
