Not on Dragonblight...

Tried my hand at the egg bombing mission near Skettis this morning.... the bird agro was tough. I died twice and I have soloed that quest quite a few times. I ended up going to the back end of the area and getting eggs from the tree stumps.

This is particularly funny to me because Gninja Gnomes is my family guild....and I've done this.

Hellllo out there, just saw a gnome riding on a white version of the BR mount. He told us it was a rare drop on the new island. Nifty

From what I've heard about Runescape not much really. While there are PVP elements it's consensual, unless you're on a PVP server specificly and then it's assumed you knew what you were getting into when you made a character on that server.

There are some people who engage in acts of griefing but these are really few and far between. All in all it's a really fun game. I've got lots of friends who play on the same server.

/sad My Christian guild on Moonruner has died. I haven't played in awhile and I checked on Wowarmory.com the other day and only 2 level 70s are left in the guild roster...one of them my Nelf priest.

R.I.P. Order of the Holy Cross

Guess if I go back to playing I'll end up transferring my priest to my brother-in-law's server like he kept bugging me to do forever. Hey, how is the content on Sunwell Isle? It doesn't look that impressive from what I've read in the patch notes and the drops I've seen on Thottbot.

Both of my 70s are human males. The pallidin is retribution and the priest is holy.

Someone in our guild got the sunhawk drop last night... we all applauded with envy. They are making a nice chunk of gold on the island doing dailies.

Do you folks ever discuss whether playing this game is compatible with a life of holiness?

Have you considered that this may be one of those things that the Apostle Paul wrote may be alright for one person but might be a stumbling block for another?

The Bible does not say, "Thou shall not play Wow". However, the game is wicked when contrasted with the path of holiness that we're called to. I know about how wicked it is, as I used to play it a lot. There is virtually no way to play the game without participating in occult ideas in one form or another. When I first started playing the game I tried to mix my beliefs with the game environment and use it to glorify God. However, my syncretism quickly led to me compromise my beliefs in many ways as I played that game. Not only that, but it is a very violent game and a big waste of time for many.

Of course, that is just my opinion. I cannot say that all people who play WoW are sinning. I merely posed the question to get people to think about whether it is a holy activity or not.

What would our Master do?

M'love and I ran Underbog this weekend, then went out to finish some quests and level up. After the underbog instance, we felt like we were questing with no effort at all.

i took the plunge last weekend ... i'm Duffle (dwarf warrior) on stormreaver if anyone plays there. of course i'm only like level 14 so if anyone has any characters around that level they play sometimes, look me up as i am having hard time finding groups except when my friends are sometimes on.

Taking forever to level my pally to 70...I think because I spend so much time farming mats for blacksmithing. But I really enjoy smithing! I made the three pieces of the adamantite armor set for him and socketed him up with +healing +crit gems, which is sweet! Wish my holy pally had an AOE heal, though...like my shammy and priest. Oh well. So, what's the deal with Magister's Terrace? I have not run it yet but people are constantly asking for groups to run it. Is it more difficult than the TK instances (non-heroic, of course)?

FEATHERMOON:
Livgren 70 Draenei Shaman
Bloodgood 67 Dwarf Paladin

MOONRUNNER:
Deitiphobia 70 Night Elf Priest
Nealmorse 64 Human Paladin
Bloodgood 60 Dwarf Warrior
Antestor 62 Orc Hunter

not to mention others...

I feel your pain. I started my paladin on Moonrunner the day it came online. It was rough not having any friends on the server for the first couple of days. Eventually I found a couple other Christians on the realm and formed a guild with them which made it much better. I had switched over from Feathermoon because of the lag that was happening at the time. I eventually went back to Feathermoon part time because my brother-in-law plays there, so I kind of split time between the two. If you start a toon on either of those servers, send me an in-game mail and I'll hook you up.

Heya Duffle. Good name for a DORF.

I'm a female who runs a male dwarf. He is on Cenarius. I made him "just 'cause" so many men run female toons around.

thanks, i got it from Narnia (he was a dwarf in silver chair?, can't remember for sure) :)

is there any gameplay differences other than appearance between male & female characters.

i've got lots of money, i just need to find some places to buy better armor. also does anyone know where i can go to get trained on guns? gun is always in red like i can't use it. not sure what to do.
