the only differance is height, that is a race differance. Some times I am a tall space goat and then have to adjust to a short gnome rogue...(gninja gnomes) My dorf is kinda funny fighting ogres who clunk him on the head while he thumps him in the stomache.

If you go to the weapon trainer, there may be a balloon that asks basically, who else can train me. I think that the gun trainer is somewhere near Iron Forge but I am not sure. I do know that guns are too noisy for me. My tauren hunter had a gun but I got rid of it eventually for a bow. I know that not all races can use all weapons but I do think dwarves can use guns. As a warrior you will only really use it to pull a monster out of a group. Your main way of dealing with things will be to smack it!

If you want to shoot from a distance, roll a hunter. I have a Marksman alliance side and a beast master horde side. M'love has beast master so we have a friendly debate on occassion.

my daughter has a warrior. Not really high level since she doesn't have time to get on often but it is fun running as her healbot sometimes... or a frost mage so they stay put. M'love sometimes plays a priest with my warrior (seldom used on horde side) and he likes to pull mobs away from me just as I get to them. He thinks it's funny. (sigh) men.....

hunter beast masters are easier to level up.

and.. ive done that too. hahaha.

ive stopped playing WoW mostly cause i got bored. when you reach level 70 you need at least 25 serious people. when its 10 and 15 who are being annoying it gets pretty annoying and boring. so i stopped

i have to play in over a year. maybe ill start again when the expansion comes out

that is one reason why it is good to find a guild you can work with. Mine raids alot but I pvp because of time zone problems. They start when I go to bed.
Mostly I team up with family and am almost always running with my husband. It is the social element as well as the cool music and artwork that is the main draw for me.

My guild just lost a dozen of our most regular players. They split off to form their own guild now. I've been playing with all these folks for a year or so. We don't have much in the way of regular people left. Talk about depressing.

ouch, I guess like in all other parts of life, people come and go. Our guild has a chat channel for guildies who have left, to keep in touch. Some do, some don't. The young men in our family split off to form their own guild. It seems to be doing well. None the less, I do miss seeing them banter in guild chat. We do play with them now and then as well, and tease about which dps/healer team would beat the other in a duel.

I got an invite from a long time friend. The Knights of Azeroth, on Dragonblight server, are one the best groups of people I've ever had the pleasure of gaming with.

Our GM is sneaky. He helps out someone about the level and class we need. Once he has a feel for them as a player and a person then we offer the invite. That's how mine went.

that's cool marcus. what is etiquette in forming groups? if i see someone nearby doing the same quest ie) kill 20 xyz ... should i send them a whisper and ask if they want to work together? i'm not sure best way to approach someone or what? just keep killing and wait for them to ask me?

I just ask others if they are on the same quest. I link the quest name or ask if they are after the NPC. It used to be common to ask folks before inviting them. It seems common to get an invite out of the blue these days. Then the spammers started doing that so they could spam the group but they wouldn't chat with you otherwise. Personally I won't accept an invite unless the person talks to me first.

When you want to let folks read the same info on an item you can link it in the chat. When you are at the spot in the sentence where you want the item, Shift plus left click on the item. Then the person reading it can left click on the item name and read everything about it. Or you can Ctrl plus left click to see it in the wardrobe window on you.

The same rule works for linking quests from your quest log but it only puts the name from your log in the chat. The description is unavailable so that was why I mentioned the name. I just type that in.

I think my time playing this game is over. Loosing all those friends has taken all the fun out of it for me.

I can understand that. If it weren't for the social element, I could think of other ways to spend my time and money.

So I am in the battlegrounds protecting the Black Smith and a bunch of people are fighting on the bridge. I ask why are they all fighting on the bridge, not the flag and someone said that it was too risky at the flag...(blink blink) um, you don't pvp to be safe.

If you are gonna play "king of the hill" you have to fight at the top of the hill...sheesh

Just a little side thing if anyone is interested. I'm starting a Horde guild on the Bloodhoof server called The Underhand. If anyone wants to sign the charter and hang out in WoW it could be lots of fun. The character's name is Ikzu right now he's a lvl 8 Troll mage. I need four more people to register the guild. I'm usually on during the day if anyone wants to sign.

What do you say?

Thanks for the invite. I have read that there are a couple of posters who miss having friends to hang out with in Azeroth. I have my hands full leveling my holy pally. Sorry hordies, M'love and I spanked a few of you soundly last night...at level 66 no less. We'll be sending some asprin and an ice bag along shortly.

Aamurusko and Rotciv on Cenarius server
