So um...anyone have anything they'd like to tell me? Ask me?

Well since you asked. Your profile leads me to believe you're Hispanic. Cuban? or where from.

Where do you currently live? Your family's in Florida right? (I've got some friends in the Tampa (Holiday) area that I get down to see occasionally.)

What are your plans for children?

How much longer do you have in seminary? What denomination of seminary is it? What specialties if any?

What's your favorite color? Flower? Movie? Food?

If someone came up to you out of the blue and gave you $1,000,000 what would you do with it? We want details here.

How tall are you? What's your shoe size? What's the average air speed of an unburdened swallow? (oops. forget that last one. I got on a roll)

That should keep you busy for a while.

I know present the much awaited answers, in no particular order.

While you were sleeping. White Rose. 20 mph. Texas. 9-ish. May. 5'9". Chocolate. Yes. Baptist. Eek! Music. Buy a house.
Polish. Green.

You're Polish! So am I.

I have to admit I like "While you were sleeping" too. It's not my favorite but it's up there. (Favorite is probably "the quiet man" with John Wayne)

Where in Texas. My brother lives in Dallas

Was that 20 for an African or a european swallow?

JungleSkipperTina ... or how about Tina?

I am also Polish ... In fact that's where my grandparents came from. They brought my my Dad's grandma w/ them (who I think didn't really want to come) .... she refused to learn English ... so Dad had to speak Polish to her if they were to talk. She lived to be 103 and left over 370 direct decendents (that populated most of a then, small town, in Michigan!) I wonder if we're related??!!

You are very cool in my book ... which I'll be writing soon

Have a wonderful rest.

Us Poles are everywhere. My grandfather came over as a small boy. Met and married my grandmother here and settled in Northern Wisconsin. After he died and over the years most of the family has shortened the name so there are very few with my surname left (less that 24 entries in the US phone books).

Isn't it amazing how long lived the Polish people are? My great grandma was over 100 when she died, and if she hadn't have gotten cataracts she would probably still be alive. She was as strong as a horse.

The older generation always used Polish to tell secrets around us kids. For some reason they never taught the language to us. I've always wanted to learn it but haven't had the time.

See, and I'm Irish, German and Portuguese, and my father and his parents used to speak German/Portuguese all the time and never taught me. I'm actually 1st generation - my father was born in Germany, with my grandfather from the Azore Islands of Portugal. Evidently, from what the tell me, we're of some sort of royalty on the islands. I've not confirmed this, but that's the story.

Ever have one of those days where life takes a series of small beatings? Blah.

Word for the day: frustration. or perhaps it's just a mood swing-y day :)

I am sorry you are having a bad day ... but you are among friends and (possibly???) Polish relatives here!

POLACKS UNTIE!!!
I mean, polacks unite!

Thanks...the day got better. A korean friend gave me some good chocolate. The only word in korean I knew that would fit the occasion (seeing as I only know 10 words in korean) was to tell her "saranhe" (sp?) meaning "I love you".

Why a deep breath? Are we going to have a tea party at the bottom of the pool?

I love chocolate .... yummy yummy.

By the way, you wouldn't have any Irish in would you? My mom's Irish (I guess that makes me an Irish Polack??? Oh my ... I have never actually seen it written out like that ... ) That would surely mean we were related?

I am glad you could tell your friend something special in her own language!

I'm a European mutt. 16% of this 8% of that..the strongest percentage is my polish roots...my grandfather was 100% polish, therefore making me 25% (or probably 28.7% with the rest of the mutt roots) polish. When I tell people I am 1/4 polish, I usually say it is my upper right portion of my body (that is Polish). I also have a Polish last name, which will stay with me until marriage or death (hopefully the former).

As for Irish- my (step)grandmother is Irish- I love that lady! She has so much spunk at 85 years old...

Who knows what young boys do when swimming? I grew up with three sisters and no brothers. Our next door neighbors with a pool had two daughters. When visiting relatives on my dad's side, my uncle had a pool but 7 out 9 cousins were girls, and my male cousin is much younger. I hardly got to try and drown anyone until I was in high school!

I've got a brother, he lives down in Dallas and he's single, but neither of you would want him. Now how does Monk say it? Oh yes, "He has issues".

I however am totally issue free. (OK mostly issue free)

Hi jungleskippertina. I hope today is treating you better than the other day. If not, I've still got some Hersheys peanut butter kisses.
