Benny Hinn's book "The Anointing" is one of the best books I have ever read. Great book, great teaching.
I can't deny however, as a Benny Hinn supporter, his errors and his faults. He has seemed to forgotten his original call and been corrupted. While I believe in the Charismatic power and ability of GOD, there are those who truly have the gifts and those who fake it, just because there are fakes, doesn't invalidate those who really have the GIFTS.
I pray for Benny and other teachers to repent of their ways and expose the false prophets, even if they were one themselves.

Yes, it is and has been there for him. He repented to me and my staff several years ago over dinner. He vowed to publically confess his sins about the heretical teachings and false/failed prophecies he had spoken in the Lord's name.
We left very happy from that dinner meeting only to see him on TV a few days later saying that those who dared speak against him, Copeland, etc.. all would die from curses from God for daring to "touch His anointed".
He then, again on TV, went on to say that he wished he had a "holy ghost machine" gun to blow our heads off.
I wonder if we're all still alive because the god Benny worships is a nine-person trinity....
Till then (if he ever actually does...) no Christian should pay heed to him for biblical teaching or spiritual guidance.

"...After an hour of songs, Hinn preached a recurring topic. Gold and silver. Silver and gold. The flamboyant non-denominational preacher, who receives an estimated $A110 million in donations per annum, used scripture to encourage crowd members to give. "Do you know how much gold the children of Israel gave Moses to build a tabernacle?" he asked. "Fifty thousand ounces of gold, 150,000 ounces of silver. In today's prices that's over 40 million US dollars in gold alone. I don't know how much that is in Australian dollars, but that's a lot of gold . . . and God blessed them."
Hinn, who owns a $36 million private jet, continued in the same "rich" vein. For 90 minutes he talked dollars. The term "wealth transfer" was uttered 20 times in 10 minutes. "Gold" and "silver" was said 35 times in six minutes alone.
The man believed to be the world's richest evangelist, who has repeatedly refused to join the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, continued his focus on the almighty dollar.
"If God tells you to give $5000, obey him," Hinn said.
"If God speaks and says give $10,000, obey him. Do not argue with God."

Or be a good steward and _not_ throw money (which God has provided to you) away, or worse case...we don't have any idea really what Hinn's money is spent on...so how would you know you weren't propping up sin? I mean a sin other than the ones that are obvious once you realize the Hinn promises of healing and wealth are a disservice to the body of Christ and to God. When God promises, God delivers.

She did do something with that baby. She brought the baby with her to a Hinn meeting hoping for something she didn't leave with. However, crying to interrupt Benny Hinn? Perhaps the baby had the _only_ correct response.

No I didn't mean that. What I meant was that on some of the things he says is so far out in left field that he isn't quite alright. He and Paul would have a hard time today AS FAR WHAT GOSPEL WAS BEING PREACHED. In fact Kenneth Copeland would say that Paul wasn't using his words right because he was sitting in a jail in Rome. That he had a thorn in his side. Get the picture Benny and Kenneth could not agree with Paul, in what I know that one has been saying since the seventies.

Pastor leaves $800K richer
- "PROSPEROUS pastor Benny Hinn flew into Brisbane a multimillionaire. He left, 28 hours and three shows later, an estimated $800,000 richer.
The Queensland capital was a goldmine for the flamboyant televangelist who left with cash, cheques and the bank account and credit card details of more than 50,000 Australians fans.
Some attendees, who travelled from as far away as Hong Kong and Perth, handed over gold earrings and wedding rings instead of cash.
An Australian Taxation Office spokeswoman said Pastor Hinn's Australian haul – part of an estimated $110 million donated to the World Healing Centre Church each year – was seen as a "love offering".

In Acts 1 as Jesus ascended while the apostles watched him being received up to the clouds. Two men (angels) said "Why do you men of Galilee stand gazing up into heaven. This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven."
The Lord Jesus warned in Matthew 24:23: "Then if anyone says to YOU, look here is the Christ! or 'There! Do not believe them."
Matthew 24:24-26: "For false Christ's and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. "See, I have told you beforehand. "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it."
Jesus made it absolutely clear He would come the same way He left and that He will get the Church collectively. There should be no debate on this matter.
Benny Hinn disagrees and had stated on TBN March 29, 2000:
"Ladies and gentleman, Jesus is shaking the world! Now something else is happening that is to me awesome! Absolutely awesome! The Lord is physically appearing in the Muslim world. I'm telling you, Paul, I am hearing it now more and more and more. Since we preachers cannot go there, Jesus is - just going there Himself. Since we preachers are not permitted to go in, He is just showing up Himself. You know the Scriptures says clearly that the Lord did appear, did He not? Ah for forty days, isn't that right? And the Scriptures says he, he, he even, he even appeared to Paul…. He's doing the same thing today in the Muslim world. He's appearing, hear this, He is appearing to Muslims, saying I am Jesus of Nazareth! And they're coming to know the Lord!" (TBN, Praise the Lord March 29, 2000)
While a vision is possible and is Biblical, Hinn is claiming a physical appearance. You're either going to believe Hinn and disbelieve Jesus or you believe Jesus and disbelieve Benny Hinn!
"I know deep in my soul something supernatural is going to happen in Nairobi Kenya ... Paul and Jan are coming to Nairobi with me, but Paul we may very well come back with footage of Jesus appearing on the platform (Crouch flinched in good approval). You know that the Lord appeared in Romania recently and there's a video of it, where the Lord appeared in there back of a church and you see him on video walking down the aisle, Yea. Paul do you remember when I came on TBN years ago I showed you a clip of the lord appearing in our church in Orlando on the balcony on the wall. Yea you remember that. Paul Crouch "yea very well I saw it." Hinn "that was eighty, something eighty sixty, whatever. You know I always wondered why the lord, why did he do that , you know why now I look back that was the beginning of the greatest move of God in our church. Because 83, 84, 85 were horrible years for me horrible years. "86 the blessings of God began but they began with this manifestation of the Lords face on the balcony that stayed for 8 weeks, 8 solid weeks. The Lord has done this in the past but he 's about to do it again, now here this I'm prophesying this Jesus Christ the Son of God is about to appear physically in some Church's and some meetings and to many of his people. For one reason to tell you he's about to show up. To wake up, Jesus is coming saints."
Do we need Jesus to show up physically to tell us He's about to show up? When He told us in His Word the signs that would occur, this happens to be one of them that He warns of.
This sign is of a false prophet! Yes Jesus is coming, but not the way Hinn says. Why would someone break there own word (which is to be absolutely true) and come back to tell you that they are coming back? Not only does this not make sense logically, Biblically it is ABSOLUTELY FALSE!
Jesus does not appear to individuals or in Church's meetings. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting for the time He is to come and collect the Church together in the rapture.
We're told by Jesus Himself when He returns, "every eye shall see Him." Again there are no separate or special appearances except the false ones that Jesus already warned us about.
The angels in Acts 1 state "this same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

Ahhh, he's 'part' Canadian!!
Well at least I can give kudos to the CBC for this piece.
If he has video of people rising from the dead, or tumours literally falling out, why doesn't he show them?? Ohhh riiiiiight, it never happened.
It's heartbreaking to see people following Hinn around like little puppy dogs, lapping up every word he says.
