I realize that Benny Hinn is a false teacher but in his defense, it is possible to seamlessly edit anyone's words into a seamless comment completely out of context using any decent sound editor. He may have said what is in the song but I can't believe someone else's use of his words in a song that is detrimental to his character. I would need the original soundbytes from a verifiable source in order to believe them.


Read his books, then. There is no mistaking the false doctrine (and fantasies) he promotes.

I recently have had a discussion on the validity of Mr. Hinns healings, and I was convinced that they were fake. However, the person that I was having the discussion with opened my eyes a bit. He told me that most of the people on the show actually do get healed, because if they didnt, then the media would be all over them. Its like the media is certainly always trying to find soemthing false, and especially with the christian church. I would almost guarantee that the media in some way shape or form is actually talking to the people and families of the people that are healed, just to see if they actually were sick or were faking it. I started to think about this, and I realized that I never see or hear of an encounter of that sort.

There is no dought in my mind that some people do get healed.
The reson for this is simple. God sees the faith of the one getting healed. If you read the Gospels carefuly you will find that those that Got healed were the ones who had the faith to be healed.
Point is this. If benny hinn trully had the gift of healing then why not go to a childrens hospital and heal all the children?

Which would lead me to believe that folks who make it on stage with Mr. Hinn are complicit in the charade.

If you made out as though you were ill, got up on stage and took your cue from Mr. Hinn, did your bit and then headed off stage, would you admit to "the media" that you were just playing along?

Of course not.

If your or any of your people are reading this, Mr. Hinn, grab your cameras and camp out in a hospital's emergency room. If the doctors and nurses have nothing to do while you're there, because you intercept and heal people as they arrive, then it's a whole new ball game.

Or take your camera crew and ride along with an ambulance. It could be like "Cops," but with you healing folks at the scene.

Since those folks won't be primed to play along, I don't know if the results will be the same, but it would make some compelling viewing--one way or another.

The media HAS tried to call him on his fake healings. MSNBC and NBC have done stories about him and have asked him to provide ANY documented proof of so-called healings at his shows (that's what they are). Not ONCE has he been able to provide ANY credible proof or documented evidence of healings.

Hank Hannagraf asked for the same and in return Mr Hinn pronounced a curse on him and his family

It's sad that it takes the SECULAR media to expose Benny Hinn for the LIAR and FRAUD that he is.

i have no judgement about benny. i just want to share my experience.
i had watched his show quite a bit. i was always troubled by adverts for clay jars or books etc and something about him made me uneasy.
however i could not deny that people had experienced healing, and he seemes so passionate about jesus.
round about passover there were a rash of shows about a passover donation. (i have since then proclaimed that jesus was the passover offering for me.)

however in faith i donated £5.00 (ok so my faith was not great i had doubts.) however i fealt that god was pleased that i wanted to please him.

however soon afterwards i started recieving emails, asking for the best donation i can make, and letters one maybe two a week asking for donations, the minimum written on the slip being £20.
a few weeks later i felt that i should give again.
so i typed out benny hinn only to realise i had put it into a google box and not the web browser. i though never mind his site will come up and i'll just click to it there.

wow did my heart sink instantly, so many sites and pages about his deception and false teachings. i found info about false prophesy and financial issues. also sound clips where he sounds less than godly, i even found a sound clip where he said he was cursing those against his ministry.

i believe i was meant to see that information, i don't have much money and i thank god that i give my gift money to charities and organisations i can trust do do as they say.


i have no accusations to make against him but will say

i am never comfortable with preachers who have a thirty minute slot and ten of it is advertising or asking for money.
he professes jesus as christ--at least he is not of satan then.
people have come to christ because of him.

i think the rule is, if you can't feel at peace about his position in the church or his views then don't follow his teaching. i think it can be a mistake though to go around proclaiming false teachers.

i believe he loves god i do, but that doesn't mean he is not a target for satan to tempt or mislead.
personally i know longer watch his shows and i would not direct people to him simply beacause i could not be at peace about it.

Benny Hinn is a very annointed man!! God has blessed him with money to get the best hotel rooms and things such as these. Maybe God told him specifically to get these rooms b/c he is pleased with Benny! I back him up 100% and have learned a lot from his teachings. Don't you know that God wants you to live on earth and prosper? So what's wrong with what BH is doing? And the people who say "Why doesn't he go to hospitals and heal people there?" well maybe God doesn't want him to do that b/c he's only called to do his crusades! And for the people who say " some people claim they were never healed.." well, that depends on your faith, it's a daily thing that you must believe you are healed!! and you can only keep your healing by faith also!! so don't blame it on BH he's just a man, it's between you and God for your healing and Jesus has already done his part!! Unless you protect another man's annointing you won't receive your own!!

I've heard it used several times by the WOF teachers, basically saying someone can take away your anointing even by touching you.

It however, makes the error that the anointing came from a source that that can be taken away....

Just google "protect the anointing", you'll find it interesting....specifically about the amourer bearers/ body guards some pastors have....

OK, well if Benny Hinn is a false prophet then how does he know what happens to us as God prepares us? example:
We are like clay...1. the clay is dug out of the ground 2. clay is separated from which is not clay 3. clay is washed 4. clay is soaked (the heart softens) 5.Clay is smitten(trials begin) 6. Clay is investigated for bubbles(God does this to see if we're ready and God looks for imperfections) 7.clay is centered on potter's wheel (this is center of God's will)...and theres more steps but i dont feel like typing it all. But I've been experiencing these things up to #5 b/c I havent got to the next yet, so tell me then how does he know these things happen to you if he's a false prophet????????? And also, is this not just something against Benny Hinn?? Is it against all Word of Faith people?

I heard this quote from Benny Hinn and an example in the bible is when David had many chances to kill (i think it was Saul) but he didn't b/c he was anointed

I'm going to give you just a general answer here - even false prophets generally have at least some truth to what they teach. The problem isn't any truth they have, it's what they are teaching and/or prophesizing that is false!

What you are describing really isn't a prophecy as much as an illustration he apparently used to describe the christian life...and I'm really not certain it is totally biblically accurate. Bubbles?

Firstly, welcome to the forum!

Regarding anointing:
According to the Bible, we recieve the anointing when we receive the Holy Spirit... which occurs just once, not over and over:

2 Cor 1:21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, 22 who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

1 Jn 2:27 As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in Him.

1 Jn 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.

Since all who receive the Holy Spirit are already anointed... how does one become 'more' anointed later on, and where do you read in the Bible that there are different or special types of anointing? Can you please provide the Biblical evidence for what you are saying?

Regarding the clay prophecy:
As stateofgrace has pointed out, this isn't a prophecy. Do a study on prophets in the Old Testament and learn the messages they brought, how specific they were, and the intentions of the messages.

Regarding prophets in general:
Biblically, one requirement for a prophet is that they will only bring the word of God and will not contradict that word... ever. Since Mr. Hinn has contradicted God's word so many times in his teachings, it wouldn't matter if he made 1,000 true prophecies [which he has not], he is still a false prophet according to the Bible.

Regarding experiences:

I'm wondering why you are putting so much faith into experiences. Wiccans and other occult practitioners also get great results from their practices... does this make their experiences right with God? The Holy Bible is the standard by which we test all things to be true or false.

ok lets get one thing straight, when i described us as clay i didnt say it was a prophecy, i shouldve explained as i got closer to God i experienced peace in my heart, more compassion for others and i felt like i was being purified. then later on i listen to a teaching of benny hinn and he explained how we were like clay and it matched up with what i experienced. and im not going by experience with everything b/c i know you can only fight the enemy with the Word. I didn't even know there was a Word of Faith movement going on until yesterday when i got on this forum. All I've been doing was praying to God, asking him for help and he led me to BH's teachings and also a Holy Ghost revival where God healed me!! which I wasn't healed instantly, its a skin disease but everyday it's getting better b/c i claim the healing and thank God for the healing everyday and i noticed at first when i was doubting, my skin wasnt getting better or actually getting worse. So that's why people don't get healed or keep a healing, it's b/c of the doubt!!! Okay maybe BH gave "false prophecies" or maybe he couldn't distinguish God's voice at the time or it could have been a number of other things!!

why do you say that ALL of the prophecies didn't come true b/c I hear of many people seeing Jesus and my mom has told me she's seen him twice!! And about the homosexuals being "destroyed with fire" maybe he meant the fire of the Holy Spirit and they will turn and be saved.
