I am really excited for Mr. Reese. I have followed the Kingsmen for years since their Ernie Phillips days.
I am sure this will be a special night, being inducted with another former Kingsmen Squire Parsons.
I heard the group recently and they sounded great! I just wished Bryan Hutson was singing more lead. I feel he is much better lead vocalist than Philip Hughes.

Sure Bryan is a great lead vocalist but he is doing an awesome job singing baritone. Phillip has a great range at lead and having Phillip singing lead and Bryan singing baritone, it produces an AWESOME sound. I love it! Keep up the GREAT work Phillip and Bryan!

Also, keep up the GREAT work Ray and Huggy Bear! LOL

kenworth.....I'm jealous! :) Seriously, Ray has put together an outstanding quartet. What is more, they genuinely like singing together. If it is anything like their live albums they just released.....wow!

KingsmenQTfan, if you get the chance, ask Brandon about the status on their band.

When they were in Springfield in late February, Brandon slated that they had been interviewing piano players. If memory serves me correct, the plan was to find a piano player and then find a bass player.....although Brian seemed to indicate that they may just have piano and drums for now......

Just talked to Brandon. They don't have a pianist as of yet. Also spoke with Andrew and told him he should get back in there with them. LOL. From what I understood, family is Andrew's hold-back. He did say he would love to do some select dates with the guys if they wanted. You could just tell in voice he misses that time. I did suggest that he call Brandon and maybe they can work on something. I will be seeing the guys in April when they'll be about a mile from my home. I can't wait!! It's been quite some time since I've seen them.

The Kingsmen concert in Waycross, GA on March 28,2008 was awesome! The guys sounded great even without the band. That same energy and chemistry is present among the guys even without the band.

I spoke with Brandon and he said they are still looking for a pianist. Once they find a pianist, they will find a bassist.

I purchased the 2 live DVDs with the matching CDs and I also got Ray's solo CD and a NQC Highlights Vol. 3 DVD as well.

I met sgpianoman(Steven) there at the concert and me and him talked about the Kingsmen. It was nice to meet someone from the SG Forum.

After the concert, me and sgpianoman got a surprise. Brandon Reese told us to follow him and Brandon went onto the bus and got a copy of the new CD. Brandon let me and sgpianoman listen to the new CD that is set to release in the next 4 or 5 weeks. The new CD sounds awesome. I cant wait till it comes out!
