I'll go ahead and jump in here and say that I think Josh Singletary (from Tribute) would be a very good fit.

Yeah, he would, but I'd hate to see Tribute lose two of their strongest members in one month's time.

They could survive losing one, but if they lost two, that would really set the group back and start defining them as a "b-team" that trains people for the big leagues (kind of like the Dixie Melody Boys).

I'm not saying I'd be against a member change—I'd just rather they wait a bit first.

(No, I'm not like one of Tribute's biggest fans—I don't even have any of their CDs yet—I just feel a little sorry for them after losing someone of Jacob Kitson's caliber!)

I got it! Gerald Wolfe!!!!

He plays piano and he can sing a little too!!

I put that in there just for you Donna!

I'm sure that won't happen... GW has too much invested in GV.

BUT, to be honest, I could see why it might be better (in the long run) to go after someone with some tenure and status, rather than an unknown.

If I remember right Scott Fowler plays the piano. I'm sure he could EC the concerts, sing, & play the piano all at the same time. Not that I think that will ever happen.

Don't believe Josh would jump ship. He is enjoying singing too much to go back to full time pianist for a group. He and Gary have also been together a very long time. L5 may try it with total tracks for a while. Seems BFA is staying with tracks as well as some of the other groups. With gas prices like they have been that would be one less salary to pay.
There are some groups that are trying to add band members back, but while they are doing that they are increasing their flats, thus looks like they are getting less bookings.

I hate to see Tim leave as I have loved him a long time but things change. I'm sure Scott F. will find the perfect guy to take his place. I wish blessings on them both.

How About Stewart Vanardo???? I believe he would be a good fit for L5. You Know I will miss Tim, but the other day I was wondering if he would leave sometime soon it just seems like he does not stick around with a group for a real long time anywhere he has been. Well Tim thanks for the good job you did under tough circumstances.

I agree! Wouldn't it be wonderful to have Stewart in that position!? YES!! (And what a great way for him to honor his hero!)

Do any of you think Stewart would really leave the Dixie Echoes? He's a pretty big part of that group.

He comes on here and posts in the forums from time to time. Maybe he will address the issue the next time he is on here.

Ten years is a long time to stay with one group maybe he will think he it is time to move on. He would fit with L5 like a glove but I want him to do what God wants him to do.

My son mentioned someone that he would like to see - Roy Webb. I don't know if he would want to go back into a group full time or not though.

If he joined L5 he would have to comb his hair.

Steward may be part owner of Dixie Echoes.
Ten years might buy something. He promotes a lot of their events.

Well, Andrew's father-in-law is the the L5 bus driver, Gary Buckner. That is an interesting thought!

L5 may try it with total tracks for a while.

Their group's sound (more heavy on soundtracks than some) would probably make that more feasible and sensible than for other groups. They seem to have designed several years' worth of albums/soundtracks to be ready for Roger Bennett to suddenly have to miss a trip (i.e., not be too piano-heavy), so they could probably carry on for a while if they had to.

I'd love it if Andrew Ishee joined. He'd be a great addition.

They could do it that way but as Scott Fowler has told everyone that Roger pointed out that people expect to see five in the group since their name is Legacy Five.

Except folks in Florida of course since they have problems with counting down there!

Sorry guys! That was their joke not mine!

I have to agree about Ishee he would be a great fit, he has a great stage personality not unlike Roger Bennett, in fact he reminds me of a young Roger Bennett.

I didn't see Roger when he was young, but I just can't imagine comparing the stage personalities of these two gentlemen! I really can't see Andrew as the L5 pianist at all.
