Sorry, hope I don't seem dense, but I'm not understanding what you're trying to say ??? As to what my software does, it would take Gen 2:1-7 as follows: ThustheheavensandtheearthwerefinishedandallthehostofthemAndo ntheseventhdayGodendedhisworkwhichhehadmadeandherestedonthes EventhdayfromallhisworkwhichhehadmadeAndGodblessedtheseventh Dayandsanctifieditbecausethatinithehadrestedfromallhisworkwh IchGodcreatedandmadeThesearethegenerationsoftheheavensandoft HeearthwhentheywerecreatedinthedaythattheLORDGodmadetheearth andtheheavensAndeveryplantofthefieldbeforeitwasintheearthand everyherbofthefieldbeforeitgrewfortheLORDGodhadnotcauseditto rainupontheearthandtherewasnotamantotillthegroundButtherewen tupamistfromtheearthandwateredthewholefaceofthegroundAndtheL ORDGodformedmanofthedustofthegroundandbreathedintohisnostril sthebreathoflifeandmanbecamealivingsoul It removes all spaces and punctuation. The above is displayed at what would be called an ELS (Equidistant Letter Spacing) skip of 60. The word "HIDE" can be seen in column 1, at an ELS skip of -60. Of course, there is NOTHING statistically significant about that finding. But imagine for a moment if you found, in a small "box" of say, 11 columns by 11 rows, the terms: "hidden name clinton revealed to local gypsy in bible code", and only 3 of those terms, "name" - "in" - "bible", are at "normal" skip (ELS of 1: meaning, do not skip any letters), and the other terms, "hidden" - "clinton" - "revealed" - "local" - "code", are found at skips greater than 1 (diagonals, verticals, reverse order, etc) Such a find is SO improbable, the odds against finding it are truly astronomical, and would likely mean it was PLANTED. MY GOAL is to find the BEST method for calculating the odds of finding that cluster. Here's the logic behind trying to determine the probability. Let's imagine for a moment that an algorithm for such can be agreed upon by a majority of statisticians and mathematicians. And using said algorithm, it is determined that a particularly significant cluster "should" be found in 1 out of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 books. That would be considered a Phenomenon, and something unlikely to occur by chance.

More on probability: The Probability of an Event/Outcome is calculated as: number of possible outcomes ----------------------------- number of total outcomes Say we have a machine with 10,000 holes. And say we have 10,000 balls. Each ball has a letter of the alphabet. There are more balls with the letter E than any other letter. The letter Z has the fewest balls. We throw all the balls in the air, they land on the machine, each ball falls into a whole. THAT OUTCOME IS ONE BOOK. Each time you throw the balls in the air, and they land in the wholes, you get a different book. Now consider; say every human being that has ever lived (likely under 10 billion persons), including children that never made it passed a month old, got a chance to "write" 1000 bible-sized books. That would still mean that only 10,000,000,000,000 books exist. So a stat like: 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 would mean that a cluster with such a stat would VERY likely be unique to the book it was found in. Now, I would bet there are perhaps one or more clusters of random unrelated words in ALL bible-sized books with a similar stat, but it is astronomically improbable to find a cluster of related words with that same stat, ex: Head-of-State John-F-Kennedy killed Bullet Wife Jackie

What is the significance of using 60 Bit ElS, other than for probability sake? What biblical significance is the number 60? For example, Can a 1500 by 1500 Bit ELS be used? Or can any number be used??? LG

LG 60 was just an example I used because I was able to fit it nicely in this response box :) The find I have was found at an ELS skip of 777, relates to September 11, 2001. In this particular case, the ELS skip seems to be a significant component of the find, because 777 in hexadecimal is 1911 in decimal (try it out using your computer's calculator: in Calculator, go to View, select Scientific, switch to hexadecimal, enter 777, then switch back to decimal) I can post a pic if you want to see the "find" ?

He could upload the pic to Imageshack.us and then post the link - it's free.

It's a .NET, so it will only work on a Windows platform.

Okay, I'm sorry, but considering that the Bible was not written in English, and that we all know that the English language has certain rhythms and patterns to it, I think it's a wee bit presumptuous to start putting the hocus pocus on the Word of God. And a great deal insulting. Do you really think that God needed to hide secret little codes for all of his earthly detectives to figure out when ought to be out living joyful lives of witness to the world?

ORIGINAL: A_Name_Written Ok, I did it. I completed my software, and in doing so, I make it available to everyone. I sent a letter to the President of the United States about the code I found. You can read about it here: http://www.vaultid.com/codebreaker/MainLetterToPresident.htm You can watch it as a video here: http://www.vaultid.com/codebreaker/secret.htm or on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hl7Z7Cx0WTI GOD HELP ME ! Greetings, Hey John, Was wondering what took so long... I like the GUI In the mean time I have rebuilt a faster PC to use for the software, .... can this software work on Linux or Solaris type systems, ....I have basically have every MS Windows software straight up to Vista except WinNT and 2000, but before I install the OS can you hit me back with a suggested OS before I install ? Thanks LG Sorry, I hadn't realized you were asking for a suggested OS version. The application will not work in Windows 2000 because the .NET framework required will only work on Windows XP, Windows 2003, and Windows Vista. I would suggest you install XP or 2003, I detest Vista :)

I'm glad I had my aluminum foil hat on while watching that. Ha, aluminum foil is useless against my video's "death rays", next time, use lead :) Oh, never mind, there will be no next time for you, the "death rays" have already begun to do their work :)
