exactly robb, i was questioning why it was brought up out of the blue ... people are naturally going to ask who and are basically told, you didn't attend so too bad ... if you recall there was quite an uproar last month surrounding cliques etc ... posting things like this just exclude people ... one biggest complaint was of all the implying and innuendos and inside jokes
The fact that there were two couples meeting was just mentioned in connection with the severity of the disaster I believe. Elsewhere John pointed out that this is the worst flooding Indiana has ever seen. Had three couples met, I don't think there would be a state left...

That's totally hilarious! It took me only a couple of seconds to realize what the di-hydrogen monoxide was. Then again, when I was in chemistry, I did have lots of fun balancing chemical equations. (In fact, I was sometimes asked to help others because I was pretty good at it.) And, considering all of the 'E-rumors' floating around, it does not surprise me in the least that so many people don't recognize a hoax when they see it.

No, because Sharon and Ray's wedding is the first, and it's Aug 23rd. Trishy and John's is Aug 30th. We'll have to wait and see if there are any others to talk about.

Thanks Trishy, And yes this is going to be a wonderful adventure, it has been already and it has only begun.
I was on the phone with Pam when I saw that Betty had revised this thread. We were discussing the possible disasters that could happen. Of course with my going to Southern Mississippi in the middle of September, a hurricane is the most obvious one. But we discussed something that might be a surprise. I am going down to see her sing at a fair, so we discussed cattle or pig stampedes.
I have to say that either a cattle or a pig stampede would be awesome.
Of course, I don't think we've had any hurricane CW first-meet disasters, so maybe a lil tiny one would be okay.
