Mrs. C. and I will be there on the 10th. Plan to eat about 4:30. If anyone is there earlier, a lot of the artists go there to eat also prior to the concert. But they have to eat early in the afternoon.

Hey guys,
My 50th birthday is next month, and I have been trying to figure out how to celebrate. I normally don't put much stock in birthdays, but after all, it is my 50th. One thing I have decided I'd like to do is to treat myself to a working vacation (I know, I know, but I like the idea and it's my birthday, right?).
Here's the plan. On June 1st, I will drive my family to North Alabama to visit my wife's relatives for a week. Now, they are really nice folks, but in order for this to be a treat for me, I need to be somewhere else when all those women (my wife's family is all women for generations, men are allowed to marry into the family, but not really ever join  ) get together.
So, on June 2nd, I will drive to Ridgecrest, NC for a worship leader conference. I will leave there on Thursday, June 5th to drive back to Alabama. On the way, I plan to stop at Tony's for lunch to find out if y'all have been funnin' me or not about how good this food really is. I really love BBQ, so this will be my birthday present to me. Good plan, huh?

P.S. I know it will be the middle of the day on a weekday, but if any posters want to join me for lunch, ...... well that would be delightful.

Thursday, June 5th for lunch...if we're in town (not at a baseball game somewhere) and we're well, GB and I can make it. I hope you get lots of takers since it's your 50th!

We need to start a list of the one's to be there on June 28th. And how many in each group so we will have a head count to gove Tony.
I remember this as being at 4:30 pm, June 28th at Tony's BBQ, Hwy 66.
