Nope! In fact, I don't know who originally did it; it's an old old song called "He Grew The Tree"

Well, I don't know about that!!

It will be a different venue--a church.

Biggest thing that would help is if I had my part down.

Ok Tina, you have to know that my computer is down, the aliens got there first on Friday. I had to go to the library. Now don't keep the entire board in suspense, how did your concert go on Saturday night?

I have the song (or another by the same name) on a 1984 record by Sam Goodman, baritone singer for the Happy Goodmans.

Daniel--Les said he used to sing it in a group he was in many years ago. I got it because I stole it from my pastor's wife.

Not literally the CD, I just mean the song. But that's okay, cause she let me!

Very interesting. I looked through my database of information on several thousand records, and Sam Goodman's is the only project I can find it on.

Of course doing a concert in a nursing home, any night is a good night if nobody fell asleep or was interrupted by paramedics......sorry, couldn't resist.

I do just want to thank you all for praying!! As early as Friday evening I was feeling it as my nerves began to calm down and I wasn't so scared. Even though I can't say it went off without a hitch, yet I can say I still enjoyed doing it and will enjoy continuing to work at it.

Congratulations, Tina. That was probably a good place to start, and now they should all seem easier. You will do fine next time also. Personally, I would rather sing in a church as at a festival or somplace similar. The people there are really interested in hearing you. Did you do any doowop?
