I won't ask why that account is only in her name, (but I am wondering.)

I hate band-wagons, but I'm hopping on this one. I agree with karlie.

You must be so stressed. hugs to you, Ben

{{{{{{{{{{{Ben}}}}}}}}}} Sure wish we could knock some sense into Lynn. But then again, if she's anything like me, it wouldn't work. Sigh. Keep hanging in there, Ben.

Does Lynn know about this thread ?

Is it smart strategy to continue this discussion on a public board ?

She knows about this thread Jackie. But there is nothing on here that
1) she doesn't already know or
2) I plan on telling her anyway

I understand your concern, and there are certain things that I haven't shared here out of respect for our 30 year marriage. Now if you were to talk to some of the people I have spoken with they could tell you a WHOLE lot more...

But they are not all in a walk with Jesus, and there are things I need to vent about to my brothers and sisters.

I truly hope none of this is taken as gossip, for that is the last thing I would want to do.

Ben, I don't take anything you are saying as gossips at all. I see it as you reaching out to friends who care about you and Lynn both, for support and prayer.

Ditto!

I do understand Jackie's concern too.

But Lynn knowing about this thread, also knows that we care about her too (at least I truly hope so) and pray for her health and safety as well as her marriage. ((((Lynn))))

She also knows how much we care for Ben, and I don't think she would be surprised by anything we have expressed should she check into this thread.

((((Ben))))

Was just thinking in terms of lawyers & the courts.

Sometimes our words can be used against us.

Thinking it over, I think we should trust Ben's judgement. Seems like he knows what to share and what to keep private. As Marsha said, he needs to vent.

((((((((Ben))))))))) Praying.

I certainly don't see any of this as gossiping. If anything, it's the opposite. You held out on what was going on for a long time. We all know you love your wife and want her to come home. I also haven't seen a single thing here that would hurt you legally, IMO/E. She is not mentally stable and that would be easily proven. She left you and you are only doing the best you can for you and for Kayla. I'm glad you're able to share more freely now because we can pray more specifically.

I agree. And I doubt seriously that a judge would take typed words off a public forum as facts to be entered in as evidence.

Me too. Praying for you Ben. Your situation has been on my mind a lot. How is Kayla?

I've been thinking about the gossip angle. If we took this matter into other threads, or seperated it from how it affects you, yes, it would be gossip. But if we're seeking to support you, and not buzzing about it all over the forums, I think we're okay. Especially since you're telling Lynn what is beng posted.

I'm sure we don't know the half of it. Dear Lord, please give Ben the grace and faith to walk through this situtation.

Apparently now, that is exactly what is happening in the courts in regards to marriage breakups, custody and all that. I don't see anything here, however, that could be used against Ben.

She and John talked it all out. there's "nothing" to his temper, nothing to her feeling controlled by him.

Everything we've been through, all we've experienced is all for naught. She's going to legal aid and starting divorce proceedings.

No, it's not, Ben. God has a plan for you, even in this, even if her heart never changes. I'm so sorry for your pain, and am praying for you with desperation.
