I just want to let you all know I'm here. It's been a very rough two weeks, but after reading a suggested resource and receiving advice from a dear sister I am doing alright.
I don't want to publicly go into detail here, but I will say that I now know I need to guard my heart and set some limits for my own well being.

Even when we don't understand what's going or why God would allow some things, God is still Lord and He knows what the end will be.
I read about somebody who thought they would "help" a butterfly out of its cocoon. He helped. After that well meaning man helped that butterfly...it never was able to fly.
Ben, I hope you are helped by the One who knows what He is doing, and by those He provides you along the way. I pray that God gives you the discerment between those helpers who God gives you, and those who are simply being well intentioned but don't have a clue as to how to provide real help.
For most of us, the way we can provide you with help is to pray and pray and pray some more.
