Raptorman -> RE: What is the worst movie ever? (4/7/2007 2:48:20 AM)

I totally agree, Tacitus![:'(] Why do they even make sci-fi channel movies anymore? Who even signs up to star in those things? Especially that dinosaur movie, Raptor Island. I could probably write a book about all the stupid things in that film, and in my opinion, it wasn't worthy to include dinosaurs, the most beautiful and majestic of God's creatures as far as I'm concerned. Call me nuts, but I also didn't care for Armageddon. It had some funny lines, and the scary-sounding music in the film is tremendously good, but I simply disliked it. Eragon is perhaps the most disappointing movie in my experience. It had its moments, but mostly they completely butchered and ruined a terrific book. I demand a remake! And get Peter Jackson to sign up as director![:@] I also despised Dragonheart: A New Beginning. The first Dragonheart was awesome, and there were exactly zero reasons to make a sequel, aside perhaps from some ill-conceived idea that they would get more money if a sequel was made. Plus there is, of course, Manos: The Hands of Fate. If I remember correctly, the director was frequently high on drugs during shooting, so that would explain a lot. Still, our loveable and hilarious robot friends at "Mystery Science Theater 3000" know how to make sure you still have a reasonably good time watching movies like this.[:)]
