Sleep breathe sweet rest warm, softness caress sleep glorious rest renewed strength renewed for another day another day of life ahead whatever it may be Friend I have friends.... but they aren't the ones I run to when I feel my world is falling apart I have friends but they aren't the ones that hold me when I'm crying I have friends but they aren't the ones that hear me when I need to talk about something I have a friend though is not visible with my eyes I have a friend though I can't touch him He is the friend... my friend yes... and more I don't have words to describe him for all that he is... because there are no words that say it all though at times I wish I had someone who I can see I wish I had someone that I could go and hug

My Creator You breathe you spoke it into being you take the void the emptyness your words and then.... there it is it's there and its real Lord how blind am I not to see everywhere... all around with all creation that cries with one sound Lord how did I not see the beauty... all around its there and its real I'm just a part of your grand design I'm just a single voice a single heart I am who I am you made me though things may not be perfect Lord I am a part of your masterpiece I'm here and I'm trying to be real Lord with wonder I stand in awe Lord I can't understand it comprehend it that you would make me.... you breathed, the words you spoke when you formed me Lord I am a part of your masterpiece you know the begining and the end Lord every word... every moment even before it comes to be Lord how can I not be in awe of what I see that this is real and it's there Lord how blind am I not to see everywhere... all around with all creation that cries with one sound Lord how did I not see the beauty... all around its there and its real you breathed you spoke it into being you take the void the emptyness your words and then.... there it is it's there and its real Saturate (new version) Lord Here I am I'm hungry and so thirsty Lord could I be so blind not to truly see that which is me I'm struggling here in this barren place Lord my need for you is great without you I suffocate under the weight of my sin Chorus Lord Jesus I need you to come Infiltrate and saturate this heart of mine Lord Jesus I need you More than I can ever say Infiltrate and saturate me with you I'm sick and tired of this feeling I'm sick and tired of waking up find I'm another day older find that I'm no closer only feel farther from your arms chorus I am struggling here in my own filth and selfishness I am struggling here in my own pride I am struggling here to surrender everything so you can change me am I suffocating...???? saturate... me with you infiltrate every part of me leave no part left of untouched by your grace by your hand this time I'm giving up everything there are no secrets here there is no holding back there is no going back Its time for you and I to change Its time for you Lord to come and change us from the inside out.... Just Right Here Do you hear a voice in the silence Hear the whispers that echo in your heart Telling you I am here Chorus I have never left you, you are never alone I love you more than you can understand I hold you in my hands That I am closer than the air you breathe I am just right here Do you see the beauty in the world around you Do you see the wonder of a new day That even when the storms rage and your enimies surround you That I am your peace even in the middle of your fear chorus You are my child you are mine even in the dark of night even in the middle of your sorrow and pain I am here waiting to be your comfort and your strength all you have to do is call on my name chorus I am just right here never have I left your side it was your choice if you walked away I am just right here I am just right here if you stay Three lyrics thought I'd share with you all.... :)

I guess it isn't much what I wish.... what I ask for.... how selfish I must sound to others who read my thoughts who hear the words I guess it isn't much what I wish what I ask for... is it that selfish to want this and wish for this feeling like I belong and I am apart that I have a friend someone to talk too someone to do things with is it so wrong to want this is it so selfish to wish this it can't be.... its just when I try it doesn't work out and again here I sit the feelings of being so alone creeping in again washing over me like waves of torment i know I'm not truly alone yet the depths of my longing for some human friend are so deep so...agonizing that many don't even understand nor do they see it

Darkest Desire He leaned over, and kissed Love goodbye Love was always there, by his side, unselfish But there was another calling his name A sensation unfamiliar to his mind He started out on his journey cautiously planning his route Looking every which way checking his landmarks Always making sure he could remember the road back Yet as he ventured forth his way started to become unfamiliar and unnerving As he turned back he didn’t recognize his steps, Panic, clutching his chest, he began reeling in circles Desperately trying to find a familiar, but all he saw was a dense darkness Then she reached out and touched him… Desire Desire was simplistic by nature, yet seized a degree of complexity that was unexplainable The dark eyes, the radiating sensuality, and a soft soothing expression The touch… was so… quietly explosive And with that touch, Desire took his hand and began leading the way Everything about Desire was envied by all, Her confidence, beauty, and the deep intelligence behind those eyes. Those eyes, those dark worlds of wonder, he knew how he could lost in just exploring those alone And as she led him, there was a sense of excitement and danger drawing near Enamored by Desires every step, every curve, every perfume filled scent He was losing himself in her; Desire stopped and turned to him Wordlessly she motioned him to lie down in the grass, a soft smile displayed on her plush lips As he laid down, she went across the path and pulled away a patch of darkness Through the gap a bright light was streaming through, and on the other side was Love Desire went to him, laid down, and slowly embraced him with a passion that only she embodied Lingering in the moment, he finally looked into her eyes, and slowly made his way to her mouth As their lips connected their passions merged and flame engulfed them As he lay with her, his eye caught the sight of Love Love, her innocence, sweet tenderness, and beauty… what else did he want? Desire, understanding and tasteful, slowly got up and began to descend into the places she surfaced He stood there a moment, torn, wanting to follow Desire back into darkness The light streaming from distorted darkness felt warm and inviting to him So he turned to face Love, and began to make his way to her With open arms she embraced him and repeated her name to him Undeserving she accepted him because of who she was.

Lullaby Lullaby, the moment’s here as sleep has overcome me Take my hand and join me in this endless night of yearning Lie with me Lullaby as we express our desires and I absolve your sins into me Render yourself helpless to the storm passing over us; shift in the rhythm of the thunder Embrace the fire of lightning and feel the intensity rise inside you Together we’ll fall far below the realm of innocence. Sing my Lullaby, sing; shout the chorus of love to me In that love we’ll discover the mysteries that bind us As the fire dies we’ll tremble a prayer for a rain to quench our burning And as the embers cool we’ll hold as one, and wait the sun to cast its calling Awake my dear the phoenix has risen, in the days how must we suffer From the conscious dawn to the nights we’ve drawn, only in shadow we are together Until then my dear, when the moon has come to take me back to sleep Lullaby, don’t you cry, in dreams we are forever Note: This one requires some explanation so if you are unfamiliar with or uncomfortable with this, let's discuss it.

To The Hypocrite I looked at us as brothers I thought that we were friends We shared common ground of Jesus Christ Your faiths not straight; I see it bend You knock down those who are needy And condemn those who are lost You mock the wounds of the hurting And you still don’t see the cost Your heart is hard to tear drops And soul’s as cold as ice You scoff those not standing with you Your accusations come with price You’ve lost sight of Christ’s calling The one thing we’re to do Instead you judge as if you’re perfect But soon His wrath will turn to you So come back to the Lord our God The one who loves us without shame Understand that in His eyes we’re equal Everyone in life has carried blame

The War is the Lords No strength to carry on As I’m face down in the mire Here I lay upon the battlefield My wounds they burn like fire My armor’s split and dented This shield is showing wear The attackers are taking ground from me There’s no fight in me to spare As I lay there trampled under foot Feeling the weight of sin’s defeat The demons hold me to the ground And say that my army’s’ in retreat Despair starts to overwhelm me How is it that we have lost? We were fighting for the Holy One Could my sins have been the cost? But then I hear a powerful battle cry Like sun breaking twilight at dawn I turn my head to see Jesus the Christ And His mighty sword is drawn He charges the horde to rescue me To deliver me from this sin Then cradles me in His arms so close And assures me we will win Then he stands me up and wipes away The mud that’s on my face And as He smiles at me, He lifts His sword And charges the frontline in my place I stand there for a moment As I watch Him battle on To save the souls who fell like me Those who feel they’re lost and gone Then the Spirit falls upon me And my strength has been renewed I fall to my knees, lift my hands, crying out “It’s time we end this feud” Then our army charges up the field To meet the Risen One We’ll fight up to the gates of Hell Until the battles fought and won

Armageddon Seven years had come and gone Satan’s time was at and end The dragons’ forces had gathered all the numbers now Up to Mount Zion they would ascend The armies of Adonai had assembled For the enemy they stand and wait Chanting and shouting the war cries of their Lord As it was the day to end all hate When the dragon reached the mountain base It taunted the Lord to fight Out were the words of blasphemies To slander the Creators’ might Then something unexpected happened That stopped all evil like a stone The Lord let out a thunderous laugh While displayed upon His throne His stare bore into the Deceiver And anger flashed as flame throughout His eyes Then He stood up from His throne and yelled “It’s time for your demise!” “To long have you killed my children And spilled their blood for your delight This whole age you had grudge with Me But now you’ll get your fight” Then heavens shook and lighting struck As He stood up from His chair Battle ready, and armor strong He climbed upon His mare The Commander and Chief drew His sword And thrust it toward the skies And all of His angels, saints, and men Charged Satan to fight his lies After the battle was fought and won And the blood flowed up horses’ reins Jah grabbed the dragon by the neck And bound him in holy chains Then the first time since the dawn of light The devil, on his knees, utterly bowed And out of his mouth came, “Jesus is Lord” It was the destruction of the proud. Thereupon a light broke loose from the ashes That remained from the holy fight And from it rose the city of gold That displayed the Father’s might And from it came the Son of God Jesus, the saving King He healed the wounded and blessed the strong And forever they did sing

Rebel’s Dawn The gates of Hell were shaking Ready to break from all the strain Demons were swarming over them It was their day to deliver pain The Lord looked at His sinful world The tears welled in His eyes Then He called His children home to Him Those who had not been trapped in all the lies Then a mighty war horn sounded And man was parted from the Lord Hell’s gates broke loose, and the rebels came And they put men to the sword Then the rebels’ prince came forward With ease he took his throne From Babylon he ruled them And people’s hearts became like stone Satan sneered at God’s children For them he had disdain So he began to slaughter everyone For these days were his claim Then the devil looked to Heaven And cursed the Holy One “You think that you’re going to beat me?” he called “I’ve waged war and now I’ve won!” “You hide up in Zion like cowards. You leave your children here to die For all the **** you ever let them go through I’m like the apple of their eye” Disease and famine plagued the world The Lord’s judgement rained on all This once utopia fell apart The reign of men had come to fall As the years passed on in torment The rebel’s dawn was losing light Their time was drawing to a close When the Lord would choose His fight. NOTE: This one is actually the first of the trilogy, I made a mistake posting it

Twisted Angels A look over here A glance over there These lustful temptations Are too much to bear All the sweet charming smiles I just can’t resist Yet I keep fighting my battles With no strength to persist These gifts from the Lord Have been twisted by hell Having lust after angels Are the reason’s I fell So Lord give me the courage To let my spirit fly high I’ll keep living for You Until the day that I die.

you stare back at me with gentle eyes the eyes that see all that is or was or ever will be i am fixed by your gaze i can't seem to look away nor do I want too when my eyes are on you peace, love, joy, and hope fill me over flowing even in the midst of pain and suffering there is you and when i put my eyes on you things seem to disapear i find release from my cares.... the load doesn't seem so heavy anymore and all is well again even though it hasn't left things still seem better i don't want to look away again at the maddness that surrounds me the things that only make me want to hide i don't want to look away again

I am looking for poetry and lyrics that anyone is interested in setting to music. I am a music writer but, not good at all with words and lyrics. I am only interested in non-copyrighted, amateur material. I'm not in this to make $$$, just to glorify God. Please reply by PM or e-mail. Thanks! Sarge

Hello! I'm hearing a lot of my own feelings coming out. I understand about just having to get the words and thoughts out before they blow up in your face. There's a poem that I started writing in my mind several years ago, and only recently did I finally put it on paper. Normally, I'm just the opposite. As soon as an idea comes to me, I write down a line or two, then develop it, edit it, and when I'm happy with it--and only then--will I share it with anyone. My passion in life is writing; I started when I was six, and haven't stopped since. Some people write to live; I live to write. It sounds like you know those feelings of incompleteness and unrest in your soul when there are words fighting to be said/read. Keep on writing. We each have something worth saying; and for me, at least, it's much easier to say it on paper than in the spoken word.

I watch the stars tonight I look into the quiet pool my solitude and the loneliness engulfs me now surrounding me I take a breath, let it out again I close my eyes wishing when I opened them that things weren't the way they are these dark days and nights would soon end I'm tired of being wet, cold and alone like some lost puppy wishing for a place to call home like a child who just wants to be held breeze blows it blows through me I stand to see the depths below I look to see the stars again wishing just once that this night would end

Rotating Moving diagonally Shaking, forever shaking These scars seem not to fade What time is it? One more just one more!!!! Standing still too long provokes something deep inside If you were I and I were you What place is this where doors and windows are barred from the inside? Now begins the silence

Frantically rummaging through what remains Searching for something more The slow melody vibrating from the speakers The lounge chairs we never use The water drips from the faucet Mind games keep us at arms length Creeping down flights of stairs I shutter to think where all this leads

Popping and crackling Smoke rises on the horizon I see red The trees sway Can you hear the roar of the burning within?

Innocence swept away Broken dreams rattle in bottles floating at sea The blind leading the blind Cattle cars filled to capacity Frivolously searching for that which lies right in our face Smacked around a bit Falling from the clouds We sway in unison Tomorrow brings rain
