Tell him, "Thanks, but I prefer diamonds."

How many ibuprofen should a 9-year old take for an earache?

As many as you can fit in her little ear, of course.

How do you stop a nosy neighbor?

Slam the door in their nose.

I have a co-worker that will not stop talking to me, even when I am trying to work. What should I do?

Staple their lips together.

How do you stop your mother-in-law from sliding down the banister?

1. Break her legs so she can't get up the stairs in the first place!
2. Or wrap barbed wire around the banister.

(Loved the "ibuprofen in the ear", Daddy!)

Ok, I have to babysit 15 children tomorrow morning. I'm not a morning person, so how do I make this easier on myself?

Find 15 more to babysit; the more the merrier. They'll entertain each other.

MY in-laws are here for a visit. My FIL likes to help with projects around the house; what should I have him do?

Give him the project of wrapping barbed wire around the banister so that SBCPastor's mother-in-law can't slide down it!

I'm being the fill-in secretary at my church right now - supposed to be answering phone calls and all. I'm alone right now. What should I do to occupy myself?

Clean the pastor's office!

What do you do about a stain on your favorite tie?

Hang it in the pastor's clean office.

Where can you get good tires, cheap?

A few years ago when we were on vacation we got a used tire in a little town between Limon and Colorado Springs, CO cheap, when one of our tires went bad. We drove on that tire a year or more. I'd recommend checking on that stretch of highway 24 in Colorado.

What should the consequence be for my high schooler not turning in assignments?

Force her to join a convent.

My 9-year old has something stuck in her ear canal. How can I remove it without making her earache worse?

Go to control panel, and find the add/delete programs folder. Find your e-mail program. Highlight it, and then click "delete". Then reboot your computer and it should be fine.

I just found out that all premises on which animals are kept need to be registered to exhibit them in 4-H. Our landlady doesn't speak much english and I don't think she will follow through if I ask her to register her property. What do you think I should do?

Promise her chocolate if she registers the property.

How do I break it to my daughter's boyfriend that she is joining a convent?

How do you keep your church members from skipping church?

Everyone who comes 4 Sundays a month (5 on 5-Sunday months) gets a free big screen TV (must be returned if misses a Sunday), but can be reinstalled on next full attendance.

What should I have for dinner tonight?

Call in a camera crew--maybe they'll put it on TV and then you'll be famous!

What is a good bedtime snack? I'm just a teensy bit hungry.

Go to your nearest Golden Corral and stuff yourself. If they are closed, break in and raid the fridge.

My in-laws are here; what should we have for supper tomorrow that would be sure to impress?

Something you can't pronounce. And if they don't know what it is, then they don't know if you made it right or not.

I'm dogsitting this weekend, two dogs at two different houses actually. How should I take care of them?

I've heard that studying as actually counter-productive. Skip that and work on the project. I don't know what kind of a project it is, but I'd suggest making it entirely out of flat wooden tongue depressors.

I think I'll have one of my kids make something for school out of tongue compressors this weekend. They can turn it in and ask for extra credit. What class should they do something for, and what should they make?

They should make kitchen counters for woodworking class.

There is severe weather forecasted for tomorrow and I'm feeling anxious, what should I do?
